Captain's Log, Supplemental (Magda)

When your jump-off point is the gorram ThonBoka, you know you're going off the map. It took Dad a solid week to get through the distortion by tracing the tightly controlled local traffic. Stealth wasn't a priority for him, and when he got where he was going, they promptly shot him down for having Darksiders aboard.

I'm not a Darksider, but I'm also not going to pretend I've got as tight a lock on my temper as I should. That, and Shenna'vala says Dad and his friends have caused enough trouble to make offworlders even more suspect than normal. Better believe Eiarra and I have our signatures hidden, and the Scar is running quiet. Sensor stealth, low velocity, no sudden moves, decant ten astrounits from the planet. Long slow approach. What took Dad a week is taking us four.

I'm sure he meant it that way: four weeks with well-intentioned holocrons and relief supplies and Kaili’s notes. Four weeks to a place where Jedi lost their sense of proportion en masse. Dad’s big on a sense of proportion. I used to be too. Maybe I still am. What I've done to Mandos is nothing compared to what I've personally seen them do.

Maybe I'll have another enemy after this trip. I'm sure Dad would love to have me writing local agitprop instead of working on my Mando books. Maybe he's guessed right: Mandos may be animals, but from what Shenna says, this regime is a lot more accountable.

The Scar's stealth is pretty decent. Huge transports connect the planet with its give habitable moons. If we fly really close to one, we ought to be able to slip through planetary security just fine.
