APPEARANCE:
Tall and lanky, he often sports a short beard and wears an officer's cap, even in combat. He has green eyes and a lithe build similar to that of a professional athlete. Wells cuts his hair close and, when not in combat armor, can be seen sporting officer's fatigues, sometimes with a knit sweater when it's a little chilly.
BIOGRAPHY:
The son of tavern owner and a brewer, Wells grew up in the rough and tumble life of bar fights, childhood mischief, and general troublemaking. All in good fun, of course. Through it all, he developed a rather solid foundation in commitment, loyalty, and hard work to form the basis of his morals, despite the occasional brush with the authorities over the occasional (weekly) barfight.
A Republic soldier from the age he could enlist, Wells saw duty first as an infantryman, but later was transferred to Special Operations when his potential was realized. He saw service in various theaters and areas of conflict operating in missions ranging from reconnaissance, search and destroy, hostage rescue, sabotage, assassinations, and various other parameters. He quickly rose through the ranks, and occasionally dropped down a ladder rung, until he gained a commission. From there, he was often cycled through to train new recruits and retrain/crosstrain more veteran soldiers in the Special Warfare divisions. Unfortunately, due to his tendency to speak his mind in most situations and his love of the occasional, old fashioned brawl, his career is more or less set at the rank of Captain.
Currently, Wells is assigned to Havoc Squad where he provides additional training, guidance, and an overall advisory status to the unit.
