Elerion. It's been described as "A notorious gambling planet located in the Outer Rim Territories near Phoebus." It's a world devoted entirely to leisure, where tourists flock, businessmen do deals in private, whims are satiated, gamblers gambol and things occur that are never discussed offworld again. It's a place where the sunny face turned toward the public far outshines the shadowy side that no one likes to talk about.

In short, a perfect getaway from the daily grind that is life.

Dannika Kestral lay back on a grav lounge with a drink in her hand, absently trailing a finger through the sweat that had beaded on her bare blue abdomen. She watched the people come and go, fighting the urge to use the Force to trip a waiter or knock a vacationing Senator into a particularly surly-looking Gamorrean who was bellowing about being cheated as sabacc. Truthfully, all the sun and noise was getting to her, so she rose up from the lounge, took her bag into the changing area, had a quick shower to wash off the remnants of the massive pool she'd enjoyed, dressed herself in loose-fitting dark blue pants and a midriff-baring, off the shoulder black blouse from the noted droid designed Shaina Kreen Mark IV, slipped on a pair of comfortable sandals, and headed for the casino. She had some serious drinking to do.

Morna was out on his own for the first time since he had returned from Courscant. He had never been to this perticular plant, Elerion, known for gambling and hookers. He didnt really care for eather. He just wanted some time to himself. He had been training for a while now and it felt good to be free again. he was wearing Robes that has some black durasteel cuffs that coverd most of his fore arms and the back of his hand. He wore some black durasteel pouldrons. it was to look good and to provide some armor. Morna carried his Sith blade on his back. It felt good to have it on his back. He had his red hood up and was in the corner.

He was intresed in this blue skined girl that felt... different. She was watching every body. Staring at them like they would be her next meal. He felt power radiating from her. It was strange. he never felt that from some one. Even from Cabal Haru who was wise beyond his years. Morna thought that he would hang back for a little bit before confronting her. he grabbed his dring and took a swig. from under the tabel so no one would see he ingnited and smothered his hands back and forth. He was nervous. Though he wasnt going to show it.

When she moved he followed. She was different from everyone else. He waited for her to return from a romm that was oblivously a shower room. she then left to go to the casino. He waited for her next move. When he could get her alone he would walk up to her and ask her about the Power that she had.

Verz was in a seedier part of town, playing cards with some chumps, and winning to boot. He had never taken his armor off fully during his stay here, just to remind people who they were dealing with. After another hand, he ordered a drink from a waitress in a skimpy outfit. He ignored her apparel and continued his game when he had a strange notion that someone was watching him. He turned around so it looked like he was orderig a drink, looked out of the corner of his eye and saw a girl staring at him. She wasn't old, but not young either. Maybe 17, 18. Probably not a hooker, going by her atire. He turned back to his card game, trying to forget her. Suddenly, he noticed the dealer was cheating, so he stood up, pulled out his pistol, and shot the man. The dealer crumpled over, smoke pouring from the hole in between his eyes.

"Damn chaakars trying to steal from me."

He sat back down and looked at the table's remaining players, all of whom had their hand on a weapon, but looking very nervous.

"I'll deal."

Danni's head snapped to the side when the blaster shot went off, instinctively dropping into a fighter's stance, her center of gravity lowered and her arms held in a defensive posture. Seeing a man fall dead to the richly-carpeted floor, smoke still rising from his new third eye, a Herglic and a Wookiee instantly moving to drag the unfortunate away, the Sith apprentice approached the table and sat down in the newly-vacated chair.

"Hey look, a spot just opened up," she said brightly, eyeballing the Mando without fear. "Who's dealing?" She pointed a thumb at the exiting corpse. "Hopefully not that guy."

Verz looked at the girl who was watching him before sit down and stare him down, eye to eye. He respected that. Not many had the courage to stare down a Mando who was full armored and had just killed someone. He grabbed the deck and shuffled.
"Nah. The chaakar was cheating anyway. I've got deal. What kinda hand you play miss?"

Morna had saw the Blaster go off. A man who was oblivouly cheating now had a third eye and was being carried out of the place. He saw the woman come over to the man who had shot the poor fellow. the man was a Mandalorian from his signature armor. He had seen a few before but from a far distance. Morna had never played the card game that they had so he decided to sit back and watch. "This is going to be intresting" He thought to himself.

"I'm a chancy sort," shrugged Danni. "Sabacc. Dealer's choice." She cracked her knuckles and took a sip of her drink while she waited for the Mando to deal. "Nice shooting, by the way. Very clean. I'm Danni by the way, and I don't cheat at cards."

"Good. I would hate to put a bolt through your head."
Verz dealt the hand and the rest of the gamblers decided they had better things to do than play here, with a Mando with his gun still smoking. So it was just him and Danni.
"Never introduced myself did I? The name is Verz."
He ordered one last drink, then told the waitress to refill the girl's drink, on him.

When all of the other people left Morna made his move towards them he got there before the skimpy dressed girl could walk away. He said "Ill take what hes having." He then sat down at the tabel and then said "Looks like you may need a few players. Never played before but ill give it a shot, And just because I said that, Mando, does not give you the right to shoot me in the head like you did to the Cheater." He then grabed one of the hands that was delt and said "By the way my name is Morna."

Verz let out a roar of a laugh, partly because he was amused by this new man's guts and partly because of the alcohol.
"Count yourself in then. I'll bet, let's make it interesting, a thousand creds."
To back up his bet, he put a credit chip down on the table.

Danni held up a finger. "One sec," she said, rising from her seat. Taking a tall glass from a scantily-dressed waitress who was carrying an order on a tray, she took a long drink, put the glass back on the tray, and sat back down in her place again. Then she did a spit take, spraying the mouthful of liquid over the carpeted floor to her right. "A thousand credits!" she sputtered. "Come on, helmeted stranger! We're not all made of credits and encased in a crunchy candy shell and filled with chocolate like you are! Mmmmm, chocolate," she added with a smile. "Let's take the braggadocio down a notch, whaddya say?" She put a ten credit chip on the table. "Let's start small. Unless you can find other people lining up to play sabacc with a Mandalorian who just shot his opponent in the face?"

Verz laughed again, then took the credit chip back and replaced it with a ten credit chip.

"Alright, I'll knock it down a notch. Not many like being around a Mando after a fight, besides ner vodes of course!"
He also decided that he would take his helmet off, just to keep from getting an unfair advantage, since with the helmet on, they couldn't see his face.

[OOC: ner vodes translates to "my brothers and sisters" meaning fellow Mandolorians in this case.]

Morna had taken his 10 credit chip and place in front of the table. "Not many people like to hang out with Mandos reguadless of then shooting people." Morna didnt realy trust the Mando in gold colored armor. The armor looked older than the other ones he had seen. BUt he took of the helmet and so he could see his face. He looked younger than he might have expected. "Lets play."

Verz saw the distrustful look in Morna's eye, but he didn't blame him. Not many outsiders liked Mandolorians, regardless of what they were doing. But he was here drink and play sabaac. So he played.

"Gone!" sobbed the tall, dark-skinned man in the fancy suit. "The bastards have taken her!"
Three large men trangulated on the situation. One, with optical implants blackening the normally white orbs of his eyes, spoke quietly, though loudly enough for Danni to hear. "Sir, I don't think this is a proper place to discuss this. Your guests --"

"Damn my guests, Amrit, and damn you too! That bloated Hutt has taken Larissa! She's going to be..." he drew in a wracked breath. "She's going to be hunted on Baktal Island!"

Danni put her hand down and turned. "Yeah Amrit, damn you, and damn me too!" The blue-skinned young woman rose and extended a hand. "Hi. Leia Starkiller. Private Investigator. Who took your what to the where now?"

The man looked confused. As he reached into his impeccably tailored suit to remove a handkerchief with which to mop his sweaty brow, his three assistants moved with a speed that belied their size to create a human wall between the Sith apprentice and their boss. One man, having the distinct feature of not having a neck, spoke in a voice like ferrocrete being dragged slowly across a landing bay. "Nobody talks to L. Bern Topper, miss."

"Well that's just stupid," replied Danni, furrowing her brow. "I mean, clearly someone speaks to him. That guy," she pointed to Amrit, "just did. And the Hutt, the bloated one, he did, or one of his majordomos did."

"You don't talk to Mr. Topper, miss."

Danni leaned to one side to look around the wall of muscle. "Mr. Topper, can I speak to you for a moment please?"

The man took a deep breath and removed the handkerchief from his face. His eyes were red, moist. "I can help," offered Danni. "Honest and for true!"

L. Bern Topper nodded. Danni smiled, and looked back up at Deep Voice. "See, beefcake? Now go suck a Cracknel. Me 'n the boss got business to conduct."

Verz saw the commotion, and saw Danni get up, so he decided to find out what was going on. He grabbed his helmet and put it on. He also rested his hand on the recently used blaster pistol. He walked over to the body guards and Danni and in the deep baritone his helmet him said
"Is there a problem here?"

Morna grabbed his credits when he stood up. He didnt know if someone was going to steal his hard earned money. He walked over to the Mando and Danni. He felt his hands getting hot and looked at them to see taht they were not on fire like last time. He heard that this fat lard of a man's daughter was taken. He walked up to Danni and said "Baktal Island is where they put slaves and servents against each other and make them fight to the death. WHo ever wins gets to go home. who ever loses......well becomes nexu feed."

Morna had seen this before. but only once. He was working in his bar when a man came in to play a holo recording of the event. He was trying to get buyers so they could sponser his little girl. He went up and payed the man 100 credits and walked back to his station. He saw the man cry and he said thank you. He watched the entire even to see that the little girl was killed by the last guy. He was sad for her, but he knew that the man would be devestated.

Morna popped into realaty. he looked over to Danni and said "If you are a invesgator then you should help him. His daughter may die in that mess. If you want help Ill be there."

"Yeah, we could help, for a price. After all, we all need to eat."
Verz stood there in his full armor, which intimidated most beings, as it did the bodyguards. He seemed especially intimidating with a still smoking blaster.
