DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES

Activated by certain pitches/sequences, the device is hidden in the interior of the instrument. With a radius of 25 meters, rather than the original transmission, whatever song’s being played replaces what would be said. In addition to this little piece of tech, the instrument has five strings rather than the standard four, opening its range to lower octaves.

Strengths:

Playing at certain speeds/pitches creates interference for communications and visual recording devices.
It’s a musical instrument.

Weaknesses :

Will not survive the elements on its own.
Will break if stepped on, sometimes even when dropped.
Open E’s.

DESCRIPTION

Think a standard full-size violin, white in color. With an able hand and a well-rosined bow, it draws a sweet sound akin to velvet. Start getting up there in difficulty and pitch (Think Mendelssohn's Concerto in E Minor, Opus 64) and a little device hidden within the wood’s hollow interior activates a little jamming signal to disrupt nearby transmissions. Think of it this way; Violin’s not your thing and you’d rather talk to your buddies? No. You. Will. Listen. And. You. Will. Enjoy.

Like all stringed instruments, the violin requires almost lover-like care. It doesn’t enjoy extreme temperatures, dropping it is asking for a broken string, and regular maintenance is a must for any serious player. Stepping on the poor thing would just about doom it to instrument heaven. It’s a cool instrument, sure, but fragile as all get out, especially in the hands of an rooky.
