Can't change Character Display Name

Been trying to change a character account's display name. Message keeps saying that my password is incorrect. Welp, character profiles don't have passwords. Only OOC accounts do. But that password wasn't working either. So I changed it and tried again. Nope. So I changed it and tried again a second time. Nope. Didn't like my new new password either.

What gives?

Tell me, is this a serious bug or are we being toyed with here?

Either way, character accounts need to have a name change requested for that reason
