Strengths (Include, but not limited to):

• Silver Tongue on Ya' (Cam is know for his ability to communicated and push a point across. This is believed to be heavily influential in his success in his life so far.
• Inspirational Leader (Much like his ability to push his point across the table, Cam is also known for his ability to inspire and motivate others with his message. Give your people something to believe in and you will seldom have to question there motivation)
• Man of the Common Folk (Cam prides himself on being able to relate to the average, everyday civilian, despite his being raised in a position of privilege)
• Affluence (Because of the success of his family, Cam comes from a position of Affluence and has inherited a healthy bank account after the passing of his parents. His position as Governor also allots him a healthy paycheck)

• Non-Combative (Cam is a politician and a diplomat, not a fighter. He has very little experience in the self defense aspect and has seldom held a firearm. He would rather leave the fighting to the professionals and perhaps his security escort)
• Loyal to a Fault (He has a strong pride in his home and its people. He is loyal to them to the point that his choices on the grander scale can sometimes be biased toward what will give the most beneficial to Rendili.

History/Biography​

Early Life

Cam's early life was much like what many would expect of a civilian born of Rendili. He and his twin, [member='Alden Akaran'], were born in the capital of Rendilil, the sprawling city of Edethor. His mother, Margrete, was an aspiring diplomat with the governing legislative house of the world, and his father, Jorr, an aspiring composer of classical music. Because of his mother's position within the government of his homeworld, Cam and his brother was afforded what many would consider a privileged upbringing of wealth without need. The two received a private education and were never in need of life's necessities. However, with the help and mentorship of the parents, along with the countless staff that helped to look after the two boys, they were forced to remain grounded and humbled - being disciplined at the very sign they were flaunting their privilege and stature in the society. Cam even came to love community outreach within Edethor, something he has carried with him to this day.

By the time the two aged into their teenage years, the two had become inseparable from one another and they did nearly everything together. But, soon enough interests change and as Cam began to follow his mother's footsteps, Alden sought a new passion in the form of the military. So when the two came of age to really pick a path to follow, it was no surprise that the two would diverge in their ways. Where Alden chose to commission into the Naval Force of the time's Galactic Alliance, Cam sought to serve and learn from his mother who had since been elected as the planetary Governor, under the support and nomination of the planet's sitting Senator at that time.


Beginning a Career

Cam buried himself in the books and sought out the knowledge and mastery of the diplomatic arts, while also never veering away from his charitable contributions to the common populace and those of the less fortunate as well. It was not an uncommon site to see the young man intermingling with the average citizen and getting to know their stories and their struggles. He helped wherever and whenever he could as to him, it would be wrong not to help others when he had the means to do so. Most commonly, Cam spent his time among children in the more underprivileged regions of the planet, doing everything in his power to bring them a better life, whether that was funding recreational centers or new and improved schools when he could afford to do so. He often lobbied with his mother, the governor, to better aid the common folk of the planet whenever he could not directly influence the situation on his own.

It would come as no surprise when he ran for the legislative house of the governing body of Rendili, that he would be elected in a no contest, winning the election by a very large margin.

During his time within the Rendili legislative house, he'd work to push through a number of bills and acts to better improve the lives of those of the world he lived. In fact, it was not uncommon to see him bashing heads with many in the branch that sought betterment for themselves of those they served, whereas Cam thought himself as less valuable than those he served, knowing that without them, he would not be in the position he was.


Tragedy Strikes Even the Best of Men

Life isn't always peaches and lemonade and even though everything in his life seemed to be going right, tragedy even struck for he and his family. In a completely unexpected turn of events, his mother died from unknown causes. If that was not enough, in a period of a few short months, his father became overrun with grief and took his own life. The events weighed heavily on the young man, so heavily in fact, that he removed himself from his office to fight through the emotion war he fault. Instead of holding an emergency election to inaugurate a new governor, the sitting Senator picked his own replacement for the seat. A special election would be held to feel his void as he stepped out of society for awhile and closed himself off from the world.

It didn't appear as if that was where the tragedy ended either. It would take no more than a couple of months after that for the Galactic Alliance to become ravage and fall and he would hear no word from his brother or his whereabouts. The overarching government he had once served was gone. The Republic he loved, no more. So hit the dark times as a replacement sought to establish itself and Rendili, too, fought for its own survival.


A Return to the Limelight

It's quite possible that had the Galactic Alliance not fallen when it did, that Cam may have never returned to his career and instead chosen to ride out his days in isolation. Alas, the grave toll the event played on the billions living on his world, reopened his eyes to the change he could fight for and accomplish. It made him realize once again that this was all bigger than he was. That it was these people that mattered, not himself. He had been blessed by these people. They'd trusted in him as their elected official to lead them. And he had failed, a feeling the really struck him in the gut.

So . . . he broke himself from his isolation and self pity and reengaged with the Rendili faithful. He fell in love with the people he'd been so honored to serve before and vowed to never fail them again. He ran, not for his old seat again, but for the position of planetary governor and the chair came up for reelection. He won and withing weeks he had returned to his former self, driven to represent his people and do everything in his power to bring that better life to them. Rendili had already joined the seedling of the new form of the Republic and so to had he returned. Better days were ahead.
