The Rioux family are a large family spread throughout the galaxy. Many generations of the Rioux grew up on Brokellia, many of them were involved in the rebuilding of Brokellia. Many of the earlier generations of Rioux were politicans, senators and other important civilan workers. Many of the men went into the police force while the women tended to work on the politics and the other important roles in society, the roles that made society function. They all did their bit.
One member of the Rioux family was born and named Callum. His mother worked in politics while his father chose to keep to construction. The duo both travelled off world was Callum was an infant, they had to work in First Order space. His mother was scared, of course she was. However, his father wasn't. If he was, he refused to show it anyway. He went about his business, ignoring the troopers the best he could. He had the right idea, if he ignored them they then they would ignore him.
They wouldn't.
He ignored a direct order and they wanted revenge. They targetted Callum, took him from childcare while both his parents were working. When the duo tried to get the child back they were refused and taken from the planet. They tried to resist, they wanted to resist but they knew that they couldn't. They had lost the child that they had brought into the world and they couldn't do anything to get him back, they couldn't do anything to rescue the child that they loved, they cared for.
The child would go on to basic education with The First Order. His name was taken from him, he would cease to be Callum Rioux that day. He would instead be issued a number, an FN tag that would stick with him for life. FN-8990, the number that would live with the child. Once FN-8990 had passed basic education he would go on to be forced into the academy. Every officer recieved the same basic training but FN-8990 showed an aptitude for starfighter piloting.
He would be drafted into the academy for pilots. It was during his time here that he would begin to wonder who his parents were although he never once asked. Instead, he bonded with another man, another man with no name. His friend would be FN-5566. They grew up together, trained together and would evetually be assigned to a Star Destroyer together. They would be assigned to the galaxy to be fighting alongside each other in the galaxy, flying Tie Fighters and enjoying themselves.
Then the execution happened.
FN-5566 died. He was shot out of the sky by his own men, the Star Destroyer had turned on them. Every report said that it was a misfire although many pilots speculated that they were being culled one at a time. Many speculated that the weakest pilots were being taken out and another pilot was next to be shot by the good guys, the ones that they had been conditioned to believe were the good guys. No-one was happy, everyone was scared, everyone wanted to get out.
FN-8990 needed to get out.
He broke into the office of his superior and pulled up the records on himself. It was the dead of night, no-one was awake. No-one was around to see him cry. He was named Callum, Callum Rioux. The First Order had been keeping tabs on his family. They were still alive, they were fine. Callum had a sister, a child born after he'd been taken by the soldiers. He knew then that he needed to see them, he wanted to see them. He knew then that he was desperate to see them.
The Resistance was growing. His parents were being watched, it was believed that they were members of The Resistance against The Sith Empire and The First Order. He stole a comlink and made contact with his parents. They hardly believed that it was him, they couldn't believe that it was him. They couldn't believe that it was Callum, they believed Callum had died when he was taken and brainwashed by The First Order officers, the soliders and those who were assigned to education.
Every single battle had meant nothing. It was that moment that Callum realised that The First Order were the bad guys. He took the stolen comlink back to his room and began searching frequencies. He continued communicating with his parents, attempting to make them believe that he was who he said he was. They didn't believe him, he didn't expect them to. However, they did give him contact with members of The Resistance, members of the men and women who could get him out.
He needed to get out. The Resistance could get him out.
