Sensors: Equipped with multiple sensors and some designed specifically for the study of tachyon particles to aid in the development of new anti-stealth technology.
Disable: Meant to disable ships from a distance, the Callisto bears weaponry in which to do so.
Speed: A low speed rating is one of the vessel’s more obvious flaws which means vessels with a higher speed rating can overtake the ship.
Kinetic: While the ship has a high defense rating it is still somewhat vulnerable to kinetic weaponry.
Ion/EMP: While equipped with anti-ion technology, her armor plating is especially vulnerable to ion/emp weaponry.
Originally designed with intent to fly First Order colors, the project was halted and suffered major delays until recently. As a first generation long range cruiser the Callisto is equipped with a variety of sensors to aid in scientific study of various spatial anomalies. By no means, however; is it unable to defend itself equipped with modular mine launchers, ion cannons and plasma disruptor beams. The vessel is able to fire for effect with intent to disable, to aid in her defense are four squadrons of smaller attack craft.
Flaws with the vessel though include her low speed rating coupled with kinetic defense rating being average at best. A low speed rating means vessels of higher speed ratings, are able to overtake her. Vessels smaller than the Callisto have a higher chance of performing hit and run attacks with greater efficiency due to her low speed. Kinetic weapons have an average chance of hitting, and getting past her armor plating and although equipped with anti-ion technology. The ship’s armor plating is especially vulnerable to ion/emp weaponry.
