Cale Perris was born Callan Orsin Brend, but he lost his parents to the chaos of galactic warfare before he was old enough to remember them. Taken in by his paternal aunt, Jamie Perris, and her husband, Tadel, he grew up in a bustling household where cousins functioned more like siblings. His childhood blended the reflective, humanistic traditions of Alderaan with the bold, independent spirit of Corellia, giving him both a moral compass and an appetite for risk.

Tadel Perris—once a skilled starfighter pilot—taught Cale how to fly long before the boy was legally allowed behind a control yoke. Cale devoured the storied exploits of Han Solo, Dash Rendar, Kyle Katarn, and other rogue heroes who blurred the line between scoundrel and savior. Their legacies shaped his worldview: that a single pilot, if brave and clever enough, could change the fate of others from the cockpit of a well-loved ship.

Today, Cale masquerades as a harmless free trader, blending into the spacelanes as just another independent hauler. In reality, he leverages his piloting skills and a deep network of contacts to traffic people, supplies, and intelligence for his adoptive siblings, who now lead resistance cells against resurgent Imperial and Sith factions. To the galaxy, he is a courier with a quick smile; but in the shadows, Cale Perris acts as a vital lifeline for those fighting to keep tyranny at bay.
