The whirring ion drives left a sapphire trail as the sleek, black Delta-class T-3c shuttlecraft broke through the clouds, the forests and mountains of Krant visible below the soaring star ship. Lush forests and snow-capped mountains turned into black basalt covered in streams of flowing lava sprouting from the heart of the planet. The pilot brought the vessel lower, the stabilizers a few dozen meters over the bubbling molten rock; They dived over a ridge and a massive castle came into view, draped in orange from the lava floating through or around it.

The ship circled around once before descending into a hangar bay, its 'wings' folding upwards and the bottom of the ship opening up to reveal the landing gear. Once still, the ramp lowered with a hydraulic hiss, hitting the durasteel ground with an audible thud.

Deep inside the castle, a cloaked man shuffled nervously through an opening pair of blast doors into the personal quarters of the castle's inhabitant. He knelt down on uncertain knees and uttered:

"My Lord, Director Caalgen...has arrived..."

Within the vast personal chambers of the Baron, Morcus sat quietly beside a warm fireplace. He'd been busy catching up with the latest reports from his Inquisitorius underlings, and Imperial Intelligence. Recent events on Hypori and Scarif had been of great interest to him. The duties of his station had kept the Grand Inquisitor away from the front-lines, coordinating the Inquisitorius in their hunt for promising force sensitives who might be of use to them or the Imperial Knighthood. As he finished reading yet another datapad, he turned to face his kneeling servant. "Very good. I shall meet with him in the throne room. Allow him and his escort inside.", Morcus said with a nod, placing the datapad on the small table next to him before proceeding out of the room, his loyal servant following him out.

The hangar bay Caalgen landed in was quite sizeable, wings of TIE Defenders and TIE Advanced x1 fighters hanging on the fighter racks above. A company of Shadow Stormtroopers had already assembled, standing in parade formation to greet the newly arrived Director. Morcus's cloaked servant hobbled over to the ramp as it descended, leaning upon an archaic cane as he prepared to greet him. "Welcome to the Black Keep, Director. My lord is expecting you. If you'll just follow me...", the servant said politely in his wizened old voice, bowing his head before beckoning the Director and his personal guard to follow.

After the ramp had lowered, booted feet sounded against it, and the white-uniformed director appeared trailed by six black-clad death troopers; similar in appearance to the Imperial shadowtroopers, except for the helmets, weaponry, and skill, not to mention the fact that they stood almost a foot taller than the director. 'Reaper Regiment', officially Death Squad Zeta, was what the Imperial Army was calling them after their heroic actions during the Imperial Invasion of Hypori.

Director Caalgen nodded to the servant, moving to follow him through the halls of the Black Keep; this was the castle that the Grand Moff had had built for the Grand Inquisitor when he became a Baron of the Empire, Travis knew this because he himself had designed the defensive and offensive systems of the keep. He smirked to himself, in the halls of another one of his accomplishments.

The elderly servant guided Director Caalgen through the many winding corridors of the Black Keep, allowing the group passage through the vast fortress and it's impressive security with his special code cylinder. Soon enough, Caalgen was brought before the Grand Inquisitor in a vast throne room. Towering obsidian statues of famous Imperial figures like Thrawn, Veers, Vader and Palpatine lined the sides of the room. Morcus did enjoy his history, after all. At the end of the chamber, Morcus gazed out at the volcanic region through a massive window built at the back of the room, sat within his rotating command throne. "Ahh, Director Caalgen. I am glad to see you have arrived without issue.", Morcus said in his usual polite manner, spinning his throne around to face the Director of Advanced Weapons Research.

"I wanted to congratulate you personally. Your work on my new fortress after the destruction of my old home on Void Station has moved quickly and efficiently. Your contributions to the Remnant have guided us forward in our campaign to secure a brighter future for the galaxy a great deal.", Morcus said, arising from his chair and stepping forward, a chalice of wine in his hand which he took a sip from before speaking once more. "My congratulations were not the only reason I summoned you, however. I have promising intelligence I wish to share with you...."
