Description: When Warren realized how untrained he was with the Force, the need for a weapon that he could use became apparent. Studying data on the holonet about the various kinds of blaster pistols, Warren was inspired to create the Phoenix Blaster Pistol. This blaster pistol has an injure setting, where it fires a beam capable of penetrating flesh, a stun setting where it fires a stun ray, or a kill setting where it fires normal blaster bolts at an opponent. This blaster comes with a DNA scanner built into it that reads for the DNA of the owner, as well as a fingerprint scanner. Should the person have not verified his DNA or fingerprints or hers that day, the blaster simply will not come work. The piece of metal sticking out on the side uses a laser to help pinpoint the target, to reduce misses or near misses and make the gun more accurate. Shielded with a bit of detoxified lead within the make of the gun, this gun is impervious to EMPs. Should the first two methods of operating the blaster be incapable of being used, a voice recognizer has also been added as a means of proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the person who owns the gun is the one who is using the gun, or someone authorized by him/her is using the gun.

Pretty run of the mill sub, no real issues far as I can tell. :)

  • You write it reads the DNA of the owner, but to what end? Does it not work if the DNA is incorrect?
  • What is the fingerprint scanner used for?
  • How would this work (if at all) if the user is wearing gloves and/or armor?

Please tag me when you reply or make changes to the sub. It is in the best interest of both you and me. ;)

You have yet to answer the above question.

I will also go on to assume that the DNA analysis and the fingerprint scanner are both computer-operated. In that case, what happens when the blaster is hit by an EMP or Ion blast? Going by your description, the weapon is rendered completely useless.

Tag me with edits/answers. :)

Feel free to use previously submitted blasters or weapons of similar size as reference.

And if all else fails, there is always Google at your disposal.
