Description: A deadly concoction of Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrochloric Acid are house in separate spacial containers within the Transparasteel casing of this grenade. When the charge inside is primed, it detonates upon contact, showering the area with the aforementioned chemical cocktail, which react to create deadly Chlorine Gas. A yellow gas, that has the effects of burning the flesh and eyes, slowly eating away at them, as well as liquefying the lungs when inhaled. The primer can be cooked for 3 seconds, after which it will detonate the charge inside, and blow the casing, which would cause the former description of symptoms. If fully exposed for 5 minutes or longer, the effects may be almost irreversible.
If treated within 10 Minutes (Given an exposure time of less than 3 minutes), the affects can be treated with heavy scrubbing of the skin with soap and charcoal and washing of the eyes. The lungs and throat, however must be cleaned out with neutralizing agents, but scarring most likely will occur. This will result in possible, permanent breathing damage and difficulty eating. If left untreated, a victim would/could be rendered permanently blind. The first signs of the grenades activation is a scent of Pineapple and Pepper, and if inhaled, would taste metallic.
A simple bio-weapon that will be used to take down targets and civilians who get trapped in it's deadly cloud. With Chlorine Gas being heavy enough to not just float away, but collect near the ground like a yellow cloud, it won't be blown away without a greater amount of air flow, like from vehicle engines or those crummy FU's and their cruddy Magik. Even so, the chemical would still be present in the air and could still potentially harm those nearby, but with minor affects of skin, eye and throat irritation, not the deadly burning and liquefying of a full dose. Much like tear gas, but the effects would only last minutes.
Best case scenario, minimum exposure of 3 minutes or less, treatable with minimum damage
Worst case scenario, maximum exposure for over 5 minutes, results in permanent damage
Even worse case scenario, untreated, 5 or more minutes, death occurs by way of liquefaction of the lungs and esophagus
