Appearance Broad and tall with a thick wiry beard that matches his hair in both color and density, Bruce looks as if he would be more comfortable competing in some ancient gladiatoral battle than in the cockpit of a starship. He is often see wearing square toed slip on work boots dark slacks with a dark undershirt and brown leather jacket. His age has caused a little pudge to grow round his belly. Though he is still well muscled with a masculine physique.
Biography Bruce does not know where he was born or who his parents were. He was found adrift in an escape p as an infant along with a young woman who was assumed to be his mother. She however died several days before the husband and wife team that captained a nearly ancient YT-2400 Freighter named the Freelancer.
His adoptive parents raised him onboard until he was eighteen when he decided that he needed to branch out on his own. He spent several years jumping ship to ship crewing with anyone that would pay for his services.
During that time he worked as everything from a bounty hunter and smuggler to ships cook and engineer. Though he eventually missed home and returned to the Freelancer after little more than a decade on his own.
Eventually his adoptive parents grew tired in their old age and retired on an uninhabited planet on the rim and transverse ownership of the Freelancer to Bruce.
Over the next several decades he continued to haul any cargo that paid, and picked up temporary crew along the way until he came into the posession of an old astromech.
Bruce his modified YT-2000 and R3-D7 are currently in port looking for work.
