STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Force-Sensitive (Breya): Breya is Force-sensitive, and often wonders why she has her luck and reflexes. She enjoys it though, and doesn't question it. She is good with animals, unconsciously calming them a small amount with the Force when they're agitated. She attributes this to just 'being good with animals'. (Strength)
Physically In Shape: Both Ruki and Breya have many jobs around the farm, and are in shape because of it. Breya is quick and agile, from all that time climbing trees, running, and exploring that takes place when her chores are finished. She also likes to dance - as in, turn-on-the-music-and-dance-to-it, not cantina-dancing. She also has a more cheetah-like build then her brother, and her climbing abilities are helped by her natural claws. Ruki, on the other hand, is strong, because of the heavy lifting his work around the farm requires. He's not unbelievably strong, but he's strong enough. He also has a more lion-like build then his siter. (Strength)
Teamwork: Breya and Ruki play off of each others strengths and weaknesses. While they have very little combat experience, and none if you don't count playfighting and sparring, they use this to make their farm chores easier and faster then they would be able to normally. (Strength)
Pilots: Pretty good on the theory, not as great on practical application. They've read some manuals, but they've never actually flown in a starship. Make of that what you will. (Strength/Weakness)
Naive: Both Ruki and Breya have little to no real-world experience, and so are very naive. Breya loves her parents to pieces and goes everything she can for them, wanting to make them proud of her, and has a hard time seeing bad in anyone. Her head is filled with romanticized ideals of adventure. Ruki is less naive then his sister, but still has no idea of the evils the galaxy has to offer - murderers, psychopaths, and so on. Emotionally Fragile (Breya): When something emotionally jarring happens - like loosing her parents or her brother - Breya will suffer an emotional breakdown. During these times, she is completely dependent on Ruki. She also only has the capacity for two such events before she effectively becomes an emotionless (hopefully lethal) furball. (Weakness)
Bone-Thin (Breya): Breya has no stored fuel. Her family has enough to eat but no extra, so she's just barely a healthy weight. If provided with more food though...well, don't blink. And don't turn your back on your second helpings either. (Weakness)
Optically Challenged (Ruki): Ruki does not have the best vision, especially for a Cathar. His low-light vision is comparable to a Hapans, and his eyes take a while to adjust when the light level changes drastically. During these times, he is dependent on Breya to tell him where to go. (Weakness)
Overconfident (Ruki): Despite his poor vision, Ruki has been given more and more responsibilities, a lot of which get to his head. Sometimes, Breya can talk him down, but most of the time Ruki will get in over his overinflated head. And Breya will laugh. (Weakness)

BIOGRAPHY:
Breya and Ruki (born Runcari) were born to Aleru and Diabyt Scali. The two Cathar were born on the planet Cathar, but left shortly after becoming life-mates to explore the wider galaxy, eventually settling on Anobis as farmers after having a number of adventures. Former members of the Republic military, they see the galaxy as a great proving ground for their kits, and so raise them in the relative safety of an Anobian farm until they are trained and ready to take on the galaxy. They are rigid adherents to the traditional Cathar ways, including the Rites and Rituals that mark a Cathars milestones in life.
Ruki came first, then two years later, his little sister Breya. The two were close, and remained close throughout the following years.
At the age of four, two years after Breya was born, Ruki was taught how to help around the house, making it easier for his mother to care for his baby sister. As Breya grew more independent and needed Aleru to feed and entertain her less and less, Ruki's duties slowly moved to the farm, where his father taught him how to feed and care for the nerfs. He also helped a lot with the heavy lifting. Three years later, when Breya turned seven, she took over the feeding and care of the nerfs, which made Ruki the heavy lifter, like his dad, Diabyt. Aleru did most of the housework, with some help from the rest of the family. Ruki is undergoing his Rite of the Sun, and has passed his Ritual of the Heart. His sister, Breya, is in training to pass her Rite of the Sun.
Whenever the two cubs finished their chores on time - and it was their father's turn to herd the nerfs - they ran, climbed, and explored, fueled by their endless curiosity, always trying to discover what lay beyond the farm, and Breya's scar is a testament to that - the female kit nearly took her eye out when she was racing her brother, tripped on a rock, and tumbled down a steep hillside. Ouch.
The Mandalorians
When Breya was 12, and Ruki 14, their house burned down in a house fire. Two Mandalorians, Kad and presumably Azrael, found them. Kad took them to his home on Mandalore.
