Description: Constructed as a part of the Elysium Complex owned by Brandt-Volcata Industries, the Zeus building houses the majority of company administration and serves as the official headquarters. Located near the equator of Lanteeb the conditions are almost always temperate allowing easy year round operation without much worry of inclement weather. The Zeus Building is the main administration building and holds the offices of the CEO and Vice President on the top floor. The rest of the building is dedicated to the administrative staff as well as department management.
The main entrance of the building boasts a high ceiling and a spacious lobby area, modern furniture creating a general waiting area. Also located here is the main lobby desk, both a receptionist and a security guard are seated here to direct visitors to various locations within the building and assist with high profile meetings. While individual employees may have secretaries, this front desk position is able to coordinate with all others for meetings and scheduling. On the second level of the building is a small cafe as well as a seating area for employees to either eat or take a brief respite from the daily grind. Additionally on the interior of the U shaped building is a small picnic area for more general seating and relaxation.
Floors 3-6 house the majority of the administration role offices from HR to Compliance and the Office of Legal Counsel, these offices are somewhat spacious though corporate in nature, supplemented with modern sit/stand cubicles. Each small cubicle contains a miniature locker for the employee. Included on each floor according to the floorplan is a small kitchenette and pair of bathrooms for general use.
The 7th floor houses the executive offices and conference rooms. This floor is restricted access and has its own miniature lobby into which the lift opens. The only way to access this floor is via lift, the stairwells are secured by a card system and are only general access in the case of an emergency. At this top floor, two armed guards monitor the lift and lobby at all times. Use is restricted to department heads and executives though exceptions may be made if coordinated with the building administration.
Beneath the main floor are two levels of substructure. The first is a general maintenance level housing the bulk of HVAC units and backup power generators. Below this level is a secondary level containing the private labs of the CEO and VP accessible only by a three tier verification system: Voice Recognition, Manual Code Entry, and Retinal Scan.
History: This structure is of new construction, part of the re-branding process was commissioning a new series of buildings on the company's original campus. Many of the outdated buildings have been replaced with up to code construction as well as a renewed aesthetic, moving from a more industrial focus into a more modern corporate feel. As part of the construction project, the buildings have been given named designations.
