Request Brainstorming New Stories For Old Character

I’ve been tossing around the idea of continuing some old characters but perhaps telling a story of their later years. Many of my faves like Kat or Holly always start to feel repetitive because even when I restart them it’s always the same.

So I thought If I aged them up into a different age category the story might bring new challenges. But most characters on the board look at least pretty young.

Do you think it would work to play an older one? Would they fit in?

I think it can work as long as they're also doing something different. If you make them older but they're still doing the exact same stuff in stories, it will probably feel exactly the same.

Shake up their story with a new direction and you might feel that it's less repetitive
