Taygeta shook her head. "We haven't gotten that far. I'm still learning to control my body and mind using the Force, as well as to sense and feel my surroundings. Altering my environment is something I have barely scratched the surface of. We haven't gotten around to lightsabres yet." she said.

Taygeta WOULD use this new environment as an opportunity to try and feel the force around her. if she couldn't fight like her seniors could, then she could at least try to get an early warning of any imminent danger to give her time to react. it was the difference between predator and prey and for lack of predatory knowledge and capability, one should instead behave like prey and take the defensive.

The young lady would reach out with her mind as she had been learning, feeling the ebb and flow of the Force. She was a novice at this, for sure, but this was quickly proving to be just as good as one's physical senses, from her inexperienced perspective.

She understood somewhat though not teaching a padawan how to defend themselves was something you should be careful with when she was moving around. The jungle was still rain covered and slick to be walking through before she looked over at sections of it all. To get themselves a better look while she pulled up some more of the information onto her tactical pad. Wanting to see over with with a nod of her head before she was walking over to see the bigger picture below them. The jungle was covered and with the rain thankfully they had managed to have the dampness contain the flesh eating death spores that were nasty to have around. They were going to need to work and be careful but turning over some of the things for her own attention. They were looking at the trees and the area below that received some sunlight from time to time with the different flowers and the bota itself.
