Intent: With many factions creating their own ships and technology, I feel that it would be a decent idea for the Hutt Cartel to have a string of ships and weapons unique to the faction as well as available on the blackmarket. This will be the second of a series of tech submissions aimed to fleshing out a Hutt Fleet. While Wookieepedia does have a few Hutt affiliated ships listed, the specs for them are not readily available and it is hardly as extensive as that of the Republic's and Empire's. I hope that by making these ships, the Hutt Cartel can legitimately use some sort of unique fleet while also giving writers specific numbers to use when fleeting.

This entry will fill the role of a light starfighter.

Description: One of the challenges the Hutt Cartel faced was when a small group of pilots using starfighters attempted to raid their freighters and planets. Commissioned through SubPro Corp, the Hutt Cartel managed to get the company to mass produce another cheap defense of their product and wealth. Lightweight and fast, the Borvo Starfighter would have been able to outmaneuver most old starfighters that pirates found in Hutt Space. However, their biggest appeal to the Hutt Cartel was the ability to field many of these at once - relying on strength in numbers and simply replacing lost starfighters and pilots by buying more. Of both.

However, due to being cheap, the starfighter was easy to destroy. Its shield was more of a formality as it simply spared the pilot from a couple shots before going down. Pilots also expressed displeasure in flying the Borvo Starfighter due to a lack of life support, forcing pilots to wear airtight spacesuits that provided their own oxygen. The cockpit was also extremely cramp, and the larger of pilots would find themselves having to twist themselves in a knot in order to properly use the starship.
