I suspect that Luke will let him keep the armour if he chooses the lightsabre.

My only concern is that Grogu is still around 5-6 in human terms. I don't know if a child can or should be able to make such a momentous decision.

I'm kind of suspecting the opposite maybe, given Luke's history of choosing the attachment he had with Vader to save him.

If he chooses the armor, it's clear Grogu is not interested in being "a powerful Jedi".

But I'm probably way off base

I just dont believe making Grogu make the choice is fair, considering there have been quite a few Jedi in the past who have been allowed to keep some form of attachment.
