Bondweaving [Mastu Ike and Satyana Rameshai]

One of the masters that had came to free Satyana from the chains of slavery was [member="Matsu Ike"], an Atrisian Jedi that had tattoos, and was a person that she had some interaction with. Well, maybe at the temple, but when she met her, she seemed like the nicest of the two, and appeared to be extremely wise. Even though the rest of the Jedi were nice, she stood out to her, not to mention, a bit attractive, even though she doesn't usually find others attractive, but maybe it was because of her unique looks... She never seen anyone from Atrisia often, probably the only other one was Master Yune...
But she wanted to find her. She had this strange feeling in the force that she would be the perfect master to help her path onto becoming a brave Jedi Knight. She felt it in her, a weave that was progressing into her. She had also heard that she was a master at Synthweaving, which... at first to her, sounded kind of boring, but then imagined the many uses of it. It sounded sort of like tinkering, only with... well, whatever synthweaving was. Hmn. Either or, she was interested, and wanted to learn more, and help advance her training under her teachings.
Upon discovering the location of Master Ike through a series of asking a few of the other masters and locating her with a holobeacon call using the holonet, she had discovered she was on the planet Atch-To, attempting to restore the Ancient Jedi Temple there. Satyana grew even more interested, as she had only heard about stories of one of the first Jedi Temples to be built other than Tython's... could this be the very VERY first one? She had to go there for herself. Setting off on her ship, she begun the course towards Atch-To, and begun to speed off towards there.
After arriving in the system, Satyana went into the mostly island and water world. Seeking out where the temple was at, the tracker had finally found the location she was looking for. Landing her ship on the shore of the island, which was probably the only suitable area to land on the entire island, she had emerged from her ship and begun to walk forth, and observed a few droids that were there helping with the reconstruction effort... Was she really alone out here on this rock?

Matsu allowed the force to stretch out from her mind, her senses breathing in the world around herself and there was such a sense of peace. Avoiding the problems and getting back to the roots of the jedi order as she tended to prefer avoiding the new wave of darkside allies that had flooded in. It was amusing how quickly the order had compromised its values in the favor of having popularity over other groups. Not for her, she would do what she always did in times like these and trust in the force over others. Allow it to guide her and keep her standing long after the others were gone. Teach her any number of new things as she had been working with some Guardians to learn about crystals.

She had a padawan coming and it would give her time to work on anything. She stood there in the force enhancing robes as they radiated and pulsed with the lightside of the force. Giving something few others could really do. She had been working on a number of things here with the other workers and their ranger's had been offering protection and interest from Felucia. Willa finding herself ousted in things despite service but no one really used the ranger equipment they had created for them... well their teams did, the other reasons were the stuff was ignored instead. She was working on these jedi training bands that could be used where she stood around setting them up with some of the jedi to test.

"Welcome padawan." She said it standing there and another padawan who was testing the bands stood with them as they moved and were adjusting the anti grav technologies to make them have more resistance on their bodies. Straining the muscles and their own power to keep it going before they were levitating up into the air with her head turning to look at Satyana offering a bow of her head. The robes from Qel=Droma fresh and perfectly working with her synthmesh so that it was far superior to the lightside where she would be looking over at it. "Welcome to some of the jedi lab works and our restoration efforts that have been getting worked on. We also have some of the more interesting artifacts."

[member="Matsu Ike"]
Atlast, she had revealed herself. Satyana glanced at the eyes of the Atrisian master and bowed. In her robes, she glanced up at Master Ike. "Thank you, Master Ike. It's good to see you once again." she said to her looking up at her eyes. She glanced around for a bit at the restoration effort and noticed how much progress it has been going through. She really had seemed to have dedicated herself to really rebuild the place. "I'm impressed, master. It's really nice to see ancient history being restored back to it's former glory." she said with a smile on her face. "It's always good to rebuild where other areas had failed. Hopefully, your research goes well, and all of that. I mean, I'm not the master at this type of stuff like you are, but I am hoping to learn under your wing."
She approached the Jedi Master and bowed her head. "I had came all this way to ask you to become my master. I always wanted to learn under your wing, for the force had told me that you and I might be the ideal duo for this time of chaos. I'm sort of afraid that the other masters might think that I hold too much anger and grudge against those who had captured me those years ago, but you seem to be the one who would be the antidote to my problem." she held her head up. "Your strength, wisdom and beauty could possibly help me out with this struggle inside of me. I feel that you'd also help me proceed on with my studies of the ways of the force."
Satyana felt quite confident that she would be a good match with Mastu. With her knowledge and her strength, the two could possibly be the best duo the Silver Order had ever seen, matching the old Jedi duos of old. "But another thing that I find more interesting... I heard from others that you're really good at synthweaving... I'm curious about the craft myself, even if it sounds boring." Satyana did thought it might be quite boring, but still.

Matsu was looking at the girl and bowed her head, here in the island they could learn and having a padawan wouldn't be so bad as she had a small grin on her face appearing. Tight lipped at first and then it came out a little full blown reaching her eyes. Her hand coming out as she motioned for the girl to follow her and going through the temple there was all of the reconstruction that went into maintaining the temple. All of the work that they were doing to make this a sanctuary for the lightside of the force away from the rest of the galaxy. "This is the first jedi temple, that we have been restoring to its livable state for a number of jedi to be able to come back around and meditate at. There is equipment you can get your hands on if you need it."

Satyana glanced at Mastu as she followed her from the gesture she gave. She glanced at the temple and saw how ancient some of the stuff is. Though she did saw the reconstruction parts and such. "I don't know if it's a good idea to tamper with historical things, but I suppose it's not so bad." she said to Matsu. "Besides master, it seems like you had really put time and effort into trying to accomplish this. I'm pretty appeased at the work so far." she said to Matsu. She heard that there is equipment and such. Hmm... that's interesting. She rose a brow glancing at her.
"I heard also that you make things... is this true?" she said glancing up at her. The young Stakeral was quite interested to know about the Jedi Master, as she felt that she would probably form some kind of bond with her. She knows and feels it.

Matsu looked at the padawan as she bowed her head. A small smile tugging at her lips with a small look though. "Perhaps, butcalling a pile of dust and rock vital is not really something I like the idea of. Preserving the history and the past should be looked at kindly over just 'don't touch it... let it crumble because..... reasons.'" She said it and had dealt with others though compared to the padawan who might not share her opinion she was at least calm about it. Others had just started destroying things to damage the site because if it doesn't fit their vision then frak it. Matsu led the way inside and there was the ocean in the distance with one of the rooms and patforms to look out on it and meditate. "Now tell me padawan what have you learned previously."

[member="Matsu Ike"]
The young pale Jedi blinked her eyes for a moment trying to think of what her master said... But then finally got it. "So basically... you believe that even though this place is old, it still holds a place in your heart, and you had allot of confidence to rebuild it?" She didn't quite understood, but she could see where Master Ike was coming from. The older Jedi Master seemed like she was someone with experience from all beyond her memory. She then followed her out towards the platform and saw the ocean. She glanced out at it for a moment and then thought why she was here in the first place... and kept thinking and thinking. The ocean out there was just distracting her mind, and it was just too hard to comprehend.
Finally, she had begun to get back to focusing and spoke.
"I had learned the basic forms, namely Form One and Form Four. I've been practicing Form Six, however, that is why I sought guidance to find you, since I'd figured that you'd be more experience in that. I've been mainly trying to use my aggressive forms since well... my family is sort of from a warrior clan, as far as I remembered. I never got the chance to really train hard when I was younger nor become a Jedi really until your team rescued me from Zambo. I also know Shatter Point and use the force to speed up a bit." she glanced up at Master Ike and back out. "But I came here to learn the art of Synthweaving... I've been interested in it."

Looking at her as she led the way for them to go through. It was all that could be seen until she looked out across the ocean and there was more. Matsu led the way towards one of the small rises that went up towards the small jedi statue that was set up at the end of a small incline on either side. It was a small practice area to use the different forms. It showed sighs it hadf been made predating the traditional forms surely but it was so you could learn to really conserve your movement and stay nice an tight with your lightsaber near you. Matsu motioned for her to come over and be a little closer until her mind was racing with the jedi master standing at the ready. "Well that is a good way to go about it and to learn. The different forms themselves are a very important to learn. FOrm six however is something you should learn and use with a basic understanding of all the forms. It draws from them, it presents pieces that i you do not understand the ideas of it. One must have and respect all aspects." While she was looking at her padawan Matsu went forward and from her robes she produced having two solid silver blades. With small loops at the tops of it. Seeing some parts of the hilts that gleamed with te silver duraplast and synthweave within the hilts.

Satayana understood what she said. It was indeed a hard form to master. The Stakeral however, was quite confident in her skills to possibly someday master the form herself. She already had begun to practice a few of the other forms, though to her, Makashi might be the hardest one to truly master. "If you can help me teach the other forms, then I'd be most grateful, master." she said to Mastu. Master Ike seemed to be a person who had been studying allot of forms and studied them thouroughly to become a strong Jedi herself. This is what Satayana liked about her, the fact that she was a remorseful, skilled, beautiful Jedi master who she can feel she can trust and form a close lasting relationship with her in order to help find out more about herself.
Though the snythweaving still rather interested her. She glanced at the blades and came close to them as she hoverd her finger over the blades. It baffled her on how mastering synthweaving can be so cool, and rather useful to someone. But daggers?... how could they help. "What use can daggers like these be in a fight? Wouldn't someone just shoot you down with a blaster?"

She was watching the girl and coming out around here where they could do anything. She allowed the force to breathe around her, to come up with he crashing of the waves for the water until all of them were going up to the small peak the padawan could stand and train on. "I can aid you with the other forms, I have worked and trained and continue to train myself in how to use the forms. A wise jedi knows that knowledge never stops. Some choose to only learn a small handful of things and call themselves mastered.... they fail themselves and their students not trying to udnerstand all of the force, all of the aspects of the lightside or what a person can doo. It shows a lack of respect to those who came before them."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

She didn't understood. Satyana always thought that the most important thing in any sort of experience was to use a weapon, and utilize it to it's fullest extent. "But... even with these forms trained, I feel that even that would not be enough. All I learned was that a weapon was a solution to all of my problems. Are there... such thing as alternative motives? I never understood the concept of "diplomacy". From what I had remembered from training as a young girl, that diplomacy was useless, and should never be used." It was a vague memory, but it was something that she could remember far back as she can remember. If anything, that was probably the only thing she could remember.

Matsu was looking at her and heard what she said as she was thinking about it and. "There are always alternatives to problems that do not involve fighting...however if one is going to learn to fight they shouldn't do it as a half measure. To often jedi want it to only be the middle, they only want to learn some fighting and some diplomacy and claim to have mastered the skills. They don't need to learn anything more but the more astute know that one never stops learning." She stayed there for a moment while standing out there looking about at more of it. There was a look of interest on her face though allowing the force energies hereon Ahch=Ti to whisper around them. "For this lesson though we are working on saber skills but so the need to not fight will not be addressed as much. This is practice and even in practice you must have the strongest stance, the more steadfast heart for courage."

Master Ike's words sounded like nonsense. How can there not be alternative problems to fighting? Her people were warriors, people who solved problems through the sword, not the mind. Battles, war. How can war be solved through the mind? That makes absolutely no sense to the young Stakeral. She listened to the wise words of her master, and started to learn somewhat. She gave a sight and breathed softly. She heard something about working on saber skills. She nodded. "Well... I never really knew there was such thing as alternative motives. But honestly, that does sound a bit better. Although, fighting is more ideal to me, this might be somewhat helpful to future endeavors I might have in mind." she said to the master.

Matsu stood there and she was glad the padawan was getting and taking in the idea of it all. Something that could work to learn. A warrior race was something that she had encountered before and often, it was one of the easiest in the galaxt this large with everything that could happen and some really dangerous beings. You had to know how to defend yourself. She understood that and didn't fault it, the Atrisians were well good at finding a place to be isolated in the galaxy through means and then the jedi were something sparse throughout the galaxy usually people couldn't compete with and fight. It allowed the jedi master as she stood there on the ridge to walk over and see some of the other parts now. "It is something to think on but for now we'll practice. Just because you should do something doesn't mean you shouldn't practice the means to defend yourself. The first of the forms and basis for all of them is shii-cho. From there everything flows into the other forms and culminates in form six which uses all of them to balance itself out. From saber defense to blaster bolt deflection and learning how to conserve your stamina and build your endurance."

Master Ike's words didn't really clicked well to the young Stakeral, but it made sense. She was still rather curious however. The Jedi arts were quite interesting when she was studying them at the temple, but hearing that they will practice. Of course, to practice in Shii-cho was something that was apparently important. It was not really an aggressive move that she would figure it would be, but it sounded quite useful. She took out her lightsaber and was quite eager to start. She pressed the button activating it and swing it a bit. She glanced at her master and nodded. "Right. But what about if I have to counter attack or anything? Just go all out? That's... all I know of what to do in a combat situation. To use your strength and fight off the enemy until they die."

Matsu looked at her as the padawan had her saber out and she was ready for anything to happen. There was a small look on the jedi masters face but she stood at the ready for a moment. "You could just go all out and attack but it is very dangerous, a risk for the jedi who might feel aggressive thoughts and emotions." She held her saber in her hand allowing the silver hilt to remain there for a moment until she had a small grin on her face. "The best way is to work on your aggression, it is a danger that we don't want you to face so focus on learning the steps." She stuck her hand out with a small look as the sleek silver hilt gleamed catching the light and then she activated it with a snap-hiss of the purple blade. Pale purple energy shimmering for a moment until she gripped it with both hands and felt the force energies pulse throughout the hilt of the saber. Eyes looking up at the girl before she brought the blade to her chest and lowered it to her waist looking over at a couple of the other parts in the small walkway they had here on Ahch-To.

Satyana listened to the Jedi Master's advice. It was interesting how emotions can directly interfere with a fighting style of one's self. She thought that the force was only there to influence other aspects, and not fighting. Perhaps she was wrong when she learned about those things. It was quite dangerous for a warrior to infact learn anything about the Jedi, knowing how fierce the Stakerals were. But no matter, Satyana will not allow her race to interfere with her training with her master. She saw a silver hilt come out and saw the light activating with the purple blade. Wow. What an amazing saber. She glanced at it in awe. She got into the shii-cho position, but it was rather hard for her to truly get into the position, since she is so inclined to get into the position she always was for when she was holding a spear. Gosh... training with a lightsaber was going to be a bit more difficult than she first expected. She glanced at her master and gave a concentrated look. "Alright... what do we do now? Do we fight? If so, let's do this!" she said eagerly, out of patience as the adrenaline flowed through her..

Matsu looked at her. "We could but given how you hold your blade a fight could be over quickly. First we will get the motions and then it will be about practice and control. That stone pillar works for many jedi, it is all about control. You need to be able to stop your swing before you cut the stone and while it might seem simple it can be a challenge if you allow your emotions or your mind to wander." She said it and held her saber there in her hand shifting to a one handed grip before she stepped to the side of her padawan and twirled the blade in a pale purple circle with a nod of her head. She went into a stance with the blade in the center of her waist holding it with both hands and brought it up to show stopping just before she completely touched the statue.

To the Stakeral, Satyana didn't really quite get what she meant by this. The main point of combat was to one up another, not have any form of strategy. How could it be possible that strategy was even introduced in combat? Hm, things are really different with other cultures aren't they? Satyana breathed and stopped forward a bit confused. She bit her lip and breathed. She watched her master get into a position and begun to mimic her and did the same exact thing. She begun to swing her saber a bit in the pose she was in and moved it around. She didn't knew what she was doing, for even with training in Voss, it was still rather hard and confusing for her to do such a thing. She gave a soft grunt and squinted her eyes a bit. She was tempted to go back into her motion of holding a spear and do jabbing, but would that even be effective with a sword?

Matsu watched her and allowed the force itself to guide her, to breathe with her and throughout her body as she slowly went into iot. Using the motions and the kata itself to present the movements of attack with the saber form, then slowly she waited for her padawan to mimic her, where Satyana was doing good though and where she was failing the jedi master made a mental note to try and work with her to fix it so that they would be able to do any number of different things. She offered a small look on her face though as she spoke. "Perhaps a saber isn't to your liking, we can make a better saber more fitted to your fomr. I know a few jedi who use a whip or a pike instead of a standard blade."
