- Speed: The Bolt relies heavily on its speed to get itself in and out of trouble.
- Glass: Low defensive ratings mean the Bolt may not stand up to prolonged combat scenarios, and indeed one may find that there are a higher number of these ships lost to the void than most.
Removed of its allegiances the Mark V, Bolt-class Corvette has been introduced with more hitting power and a higher rate of speed when compared to its predecessor. Although, it does share the same defensive problem with a low rating. This equates to the Bolt becoming a glass cannon. While equipped with shields, and a reinforced hull along with electronic countermeasures, she ultimately cannot stand up to the brutal punishment that others in the Victorian Imperial line can.
Systems on board the Bolt have been modified to fit the small corvette’s frame. Space is not wasted, often referred to as the submarine of the void. Tight living quarters and narrow halls, those trained to serve have come to adapt to living aboard the Bolts. The Bolt MK V is no different. The mentality of the Bolt is wolfpack, hunting their prey in packs it is rare to see one alone.
