Blorash Spitters were grown and shaped with one purpose. Accurate long range use of Blorash Jelly. Organic in every aspect the Blorash Spitter has an average weight and size for a weapon and to species outside the Yuuzhan Vong the weapon would seem quite unwieldy. Once Blorash jelly is fed into the front mouth of the weapon, located by its 3 main tentacles, then the weapon is ready to fire. Blorash Spitters lack penetration but make up with stopping power, A single shot has the potential to stagger an armored opponent and unarmored opponents can be dropped on their butt. When tested in the field victims of the Spitter were shocked to find Blorash jelly covering most of their bodies rendering them immobilized only after attempting to remove the Jelly projectile by brute force. Binding up the victims with ease to themselves or nearby objects too. The result was a slow death. As the Blorash jelly spreads it searches for flesh to devour which can cause horrendous pain and injuries if not removed. Most effective ways of nullifying the Blorash jelly shot is by using Arsensalts which will dissolve the substance. Ammo is restricted to 8 shots before a reload is needed. Make them count. Each round is roughly the size of the average humans fist. The Spitters themselves can only fire Blorash Jelly as a projectile. Trying to feed the weapon any thing else will only provoke the weapon to reject the object.
Like all Vong shaped technology the weapon cannot be directly touched by the force as it is Force Dead and suffers from a similar weakness as all Yuuzhan Vong Technology. Force Lightning. High amounts of electricity can and will burn Blorash Spitters into a useless mass of flesh if not completely destroy it.
