Manufacturer: Valicore Engineering
Model: Pellet
Affiliation: Valik
Modularity: None
Production: Limited
Material: Durasteel(near monomolecular casing), Valik's Blood
Description:
The blood pellet is an extremely simple design, being merely a drop of his own blood encased in an extremely thin spherical layer of durasteel. This pellet can then be shot using a verpine shattergun or other magnetic firing systems(as other systems put too much stress on the pellet, shattering it). When coming in contact with anything aside from gaseous substances it shatters, leaving a drop of blood on whatever it touches. An unarmored human would compare the pain of the sho to being bitten by a mosquito, though the blood of a person using the nightsister ritual will find their blood to create a mild burning sensation upon contact. An armored target would feel nothing, and their protective casing would remain undamaged. Overall the blood pellet isn't a form of ammunition designed to damage a target, but allow Valik to track them using the night sisters ritual, or, in the case of Force Dead targets such as the Dread Guard or Yuuzhan Vong, allow him to target them with the Force by targeting his blood trail rather than the individual themselves.

While they are not durable enough to withstand any significant amount of force put on them they are durable enough to be placed in a pouch and not break due to the stress of being placed next to each other(Assuming nobody slaps the pouch or anything like that). They could also be stored being loaded into a verpine shatter gun(or other magnetic weaponry), or a pouch full of space-cotton for extra safety if needed. For the most part however, they are 'stored' as blood in Valik's body and a small cube of durasteel, perhaps .1 kilos. From there it's a simple prick of the finger and dosage of art of the small to make a tiny sphere around it to make it on the spot.
