Description: Blazing Eye's Esh-kah war sword is actually a modern version of the ancient Esh-kah weapon Blazing Eye carried during the time of the Old Republic. The ancient version was found by Blazing Eye after he was released from stasis by Abelain Narv'uk, but as it was several thousand years old it was no longer usuable, so Blazing Eye melted it down and used the cortosis in the blade to to forge a new weapon. This weapon had a similar design, that being of a long grip suitable for two-handed use, and a massive single-edged blade. The blade had a thick durasteel support rod at the back of it, allowing for blunt attacks and keeping the blade from snapping when used to thrust or slash at heavy armor. The rod stopped slightly short of the tip, allowing for short thrusting attacks. The weapon's greatest strengths are its size and various ways of attack: sharp thrust, sharp slash, and blunt slash. Its cortosis construction also allows Blazing Eye to engage Force-users armed with lightsabers. However, the weapon's size is also a weak point, as it reduces maneuverability and restricts the weapon mostly to broad slashes, difficult to pull off in enclosed spaces or the thick of battle. The lack of vibration components also reduces its cutting power. However, with the right training a skilled wielder can make use of the durasteel support rod to allow for somewhat restricted close-quarters battle and almost impenetrable blocks.
