Intelligence - Arkanians are a naturally intelligent species and this person is no exception. They did well on their degree and once employed by Globex at 19, was soon placed into the corporate doctorate scheme. They are excellent with computer software and analysing complex data
Picked up a few things - You dont spend four years working at Globex R&D, analysing experimental tech without picking up a few things and they have a suprisingly sophisticated knowledge of weaponry and other complex systems. Their specialist field was explosives and the required reading was most informative.

All smarts, no brains - The fact that you would throw away a well paying career with one of the more pleasant corporate employers for short term financial gain says something about the non-academic intelligence of a person. They are prone to flights of impulsiveness and hubris without thinking of the consequences
Heavily in debt - Blake is in debt to Globex to the tune of millions of credits for both their funded education and their high end cybernetics. They will likely be paying of this debt for the rest of their life and missing payments is not an option.
Not much of a fighter - Blake can hold a gun and hit a target, and even wave it around with enough panache to look threatening, but an actual flight with a halfway competent opponent? No chance.
Likes a good time - Blake loves a good time, that's how they got in to this mess, 500 credits on a bottle of exclusive lum once a week is beyond the means of even a talented analyst.
Scarred face - Their eye was replaced following an assault, the eye is as good as their natural eye, but the scar remains and they decided to have it made into a bit of a tattoo as a reminder of a friend lost in the same assault.
APPEARANCE: Blake has dark skin and the white hair typical of their arcanian heritage. Their eyes are brown, although often allows their artificial eye to show in a red colour as it is the only externally visible mod they have.
Blake likes to dress flamboyantly and spends a little too money on clothing, often sailing close to the wind regards their globex debt.
BIOGRAPHY:
Blake was the middle child of a family on Arkania and like all Arkanians was intelligent and did well in their studies, ending up in a good university on Arkania to study digital analysis and software engineering. The graduated with top honors, despite getting into a little trouble for petty thefts, typically of watches and other clothing beyond the means of a student. It irked Blake's parents that they worked so hard to get their child into a good establishment and that these risks were being taken.
It was a shame, as a promising young mind could have used the doctorate to stick their head above the crowd and become very wealthy. Unfortunately, three years into the doctorate they returned to crime and began shipping and then selling spice. This allowed Blake to make enough money to keep the load sharks off their back, live the lifestyle they wanted, and also begin to put away a little nest egg for the future into their globex finance bank account.
That was their mistake, and it cost Blake everything. It took two months for Globex to flag the unusual transactions and begin an investigation. The company moved quickly once it was revealed that Blake was dealing spice using a company account and they were dismissed, this could have been the end, but Blake had taken much advantage of the cybernetic opportunities within Globex, but now, without the lifelong career that was expected in exchange for free employee upgrades, Blake was left with a massive debt, only added to by the sums already spent on the now cancelled corporate doctorate.
Their parents, utterly humiliated by their child's actions, cut Blake off and informed them they were no longer welcome at home. All this did was push Blake further into a criminal path. No respected and well paying corporate would take them on now, and legal freelance work was barely enough to keep Globex's loss retrieval managers at bay. It was barely a choice, Blake found themselves crashing on the sofa of an old globex friend in Denon and their they ran into Darkwire for the first time. They were sure the work was highly illegal, but by not asking too many questions, the currency began to roll in, enough to pay their monthly debt amount and also to begin acquiring luxuries.
Other has begun to take not of their skills with data, and also the little slips of implied knowledge that is kept tantalisingly behind a tight non-disclosure agreement, Blake's next step may be into more organised crime as they try to build a new and more lucrative reputation.
