- Population: The total population of Blackgate manor is difficult to narrow down to a set number, depending on the Lord's presence as well as the duties being conducted. The total population is estimated to be around 300 bodies. Civilians and servants making the mass of the population there are generally 200 noncombatants staffing the manor and it's lands. Security and specialized population (pilots, engineers, medical specialists, etc. ranges between 60-100 people depending on if the Lord is present or not.
- Accessibility: BlackGate is difficult to find if one does not know it's precise location. Built into the side of Serenno's Western mountain's there is only one path via land that can lead someone to the Manor. With the rest of the terrain being too harsh for most land speeders it makes it increasingly difficult to reach the manor even if one can see it.
- Description: At first glance Blackgate holds a gothic decor, matching of the icy atmosphere that it sits in. The mountain estate is often well lit, able to be seen from miles away on a clear night because of the hundreds of lights and fires that illuminate the surrounding land. Four watch towers can be seen, set on each cardinal direction surrounding the estate.
The Black Gate: It is no small secret how the Malvern homestead received it's chilling moniker. On the only main road leading into House Malvern's Lands there stands a large gate, impressively built into the side of the mountain. On either side of the gate stand two hooded figures, each clutching a Lightsaber whose blade extends down to the gate's base. These are the first Lord and Lady of the House to be trained as Jedi and the founders of the Manor. Built by Adron's grandfather the gate still appears very new and pristine, though oddly gothic for a Jedi family.

Blackgate Barracks: Home to nearly one hundred Security Officers Blackgate hosts it's own barracks. Complete with a mess hall, library, gym, swimming pool, rec center, motor pool, and of course sleeping quarters. It provides everything the Malvern Security Forces need for extended duties at the manor. Though when most are off duty they journey to Serenno's cities it is still outfitted to maintain the full security force at any point in time.

Rear Landing Pads: On the edge of the Manor's lands, overlooking a steep cliff, is the landing pad. Capable of receiving a Corvette starship, it is the primary landing pad for the house. With two other, smaller, landing pads in the center of the estate it serves to receive the Lord's shuttle as well as guest arrivals.

East, West, North, and South Watch Towers: Four towers serve as the first line of defense and lookout for the Malvern estate. The Eastern and Western towers placed on either side of the Black Gate, the Southern tower placed on the ridge behind the manor, and the Northern placed near the landing pads. Each one is generally manned by five guards, and two droids. They are not heavily armed and are meant to serve primarily as scouting towers. Though they can be properly fortified for capable defense.

Kaeshana Hypervelocity Cannon: One placed in each of the Manor's watch towers.
Korriban Heavy Machinegun: Two placed on either side of The Black Gate.
Nemoidian Gunship: Emergency heavy armor for dire situations, generally kept in the motor pool.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
It is suspected that the foundation of Blackgate manor was constructed some time during the Clone Wars. However, it was originally a retreat house used by a branch family within House Malvern. After the branch family took over as the main family the manor underwent a reconstruction to be able to house the entire House comfortably. Count Anton Malvern was the first Lord to settle into the Manor, however it was Adron's father, Count Avius Malvern who erected the ebony gate on the estate lands, coining it Blackgate Manor.
