Greetings Scum!

We are growing. Always a good thing. As such, we need to accommodate that growth with a Creativity Team. Here is what we are looking for:

- Writers that have the time to contribute to the creative stories of Black Sun
- Writers that are able to contribute a bit every month
- Writers that are able to lead the charge for stories and objectives for our Dominions
- Writers that are able to help with plots that are Black Sun oriented
- Writers that aid others with Faction Factory and Codex Submissions

WHAT SORT OF STORIES AND PLOTS DO YOU SEE IN THE FUTURE FOR BLACK SUN?
Establishing itself as a legitimate collection of systems in the eyes of the other major factions instead as an unapproachable, mindless, criminal network. From that there would be skirmishes with the Outer Rim Coalition as they are to the Black Sun as would be the Jedi are to the Sith. From there perhaps an expansionary attempt to regain some of Hutt Space still held by the Silver Jedi Order. This would be the first real invasion. Assuming that the SJO invasion is decidedly not what would be preferable then there could be invasions (for no territorial gain) against the Outer Rim Coalition. Some point between the Skirmishes with the ORC there should be threads dedicated to networking with the Sith Empire. Reasonably they would be the strongest power that would align, in part, with the ideology of the Black Sun.

AS A CREATIVITY SAMPLE, WHAT SORT OF STORIES/OBJECTIVES WOULD YOU ESTABLISH FOR VARL/ORONDIA/JILRUA IF WE HAD THOSE AS OUR DOMINIONS THIS MONTH?

For Varl I would submit the story of a reconquest of Varl,as it is sacred in Hutt Culture, to bring in more support from the Hutts. The lands of Varl are mostly desolate and so military action would be minimal making this dominion more "social" than combat based.
Objective 1: Founding of a new Era
The Hutts consider this world Holy and the mark of their ascension. It would be unwise to install an authority that is not Hutt, as any other authority would alienate the Hutt allies already loyal to the Black Sun. Create the frame work of a Hutt Authority on Varl.
Objective 2: Connecting the Past
With diplomatic intent, connect with the descendants of the Hutt's long freedom servants who reside on Varl. It is your mission to bring them peacefully into the fold. They will not respond positively to threats on their freedom however they are unable to resist you due to their lack of militias or military. Show the galaxy that the Black Sun is reasonable.
Objective 3: Bring Your Own Objective

For Orondia since there is only one Point of Interest, being a fuel depot, the best way to handle such a dominion, to keep interest, would be combat based. Only two objectives would be issued as completion of either should take more than the threshold of 50 posts.

Objective 1: Establish Supremacy
Orondia is desolate and overlooked. This has made it a safe haven for wanted individuals and some of the most dangerous pirate outfits known to the sector. It is your duty to root out this scum and hoist the colors of the Black Sun. Prisoners are optional. Expect heavy resistance in the shape of heavy repeating blasters, laser cannons, Clone Wars era Droid Gunships, and jump-pack equipped pirates at Port Solitude, the fortified hideout. Strike hard, strike quick, and don't die.
Objective 2: Its Just Business
Port Solitude is a stronghold not only in name but design. Open assaults on the Port without a proper plan would be suicidal even for an organized traditional army. Infiltrate the city disguised as denizens; pirates, drug smugglers, wanted fugitives. When the attack begins you are to create chaos with the goal of quickly silencing the leadership of Port Solitude (under the cover of perimeter battle) who will be located in the Citadel under heavy guard. Stealth, be it social or physical, is your weapon of choice. Without their leaders the crews will be directionless, easy prey for our assault teams.

Jilrua has a sentient population that was once enslaved. There would be the possibility for either a combat or social objective. Three objectives should suffice.

Objective 1: War Never Changes
Your mission is to break onto the planet's surface. These people are no stranger to war and should be considered a real threat to life and limb to even the most experienced mercenary. You have been landed under the cover of darkness. Prepare for the fight of your life, at dawn you will earn your credits. You have limited time to prepare in the harsh deserts.

Objective 2: Everyone has a Price
The road to peace is often dotted with the corpses of mercenaries and soldiers. Perhaps this expensive and tedious repetition of history can be circumvented. As the battle rages on it is your mission, along with other negotiators for the Black Sun, to convince the Jilruan leaders that they will maintain their freedom and profit under the banner of the Black Sun's Enforcers. Be wary, they are more warriors than diplomats.

Objective 3: Air Support
The Jilruan's are not know for their airpower but with our more varied employees and members we can exploit this weakness. Assist the main assault with any starfighter, gunship, dropship, or corvette of your choosing. Expect concentrated Anti-Air laser fire. You may not see a Jilruan pilot but their gunners see you and they don't often miss.

I see mainly dominions as in the first starter phases of the Black Sun, as territory must be gained for noticeability. As this trend upward continues the more members will grow along with it. Definitely, I see us clashing with the like of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Outer Rim Coalition as mainly of the Outer Rim planets that we may try to conquest are located in those areas. Skirmishes with the ORC would most likely be common as both the ORC and the Black Sun both operate in the same space.

Varl:
Varl, the ashes and dust of what was a rather pleasant green plant, was the previous homeworld of the infamous Hutts. Legends surround the planet as many believe in the Hutt legend that the Hutts destroyed their own homeworld due to the uprising of a Civil War, yet others had witnessed the destruction of the planet from an enraged star, worshipped by the Hutts and known as Ardos.

Only small corporations inhabit the planet in rather large air domes where they can live their lives peacefully on the barren wasteland. As the Black Sun continues to grow Varl falls on its sights. The reclamation of the planet is necessary for further expansion, which has left upon the Enforcers and Vigos of the Black Sun to indulge in.

Objective 1: Playing Cards
The abandoned servants of the Hutts remain on the planet on air domes that house several large yet desolate corporations. Gaining the influential control these corporations would be crucial into claiming the planet. Persuade said companies and show them that the Black Sun would like to bargain.

Objective 2: Street Smarts
As the Hutts left behind their former slaves and accomplices, many of them decided to take up arms and form their very own gangs in order to make a profit, harassing the squalid corporations into getting what they want. Play nice and delegate them into submission, or play dirty and shoot your way through them. The choice is yours.

Objective 3: Reasonable Governing
The Hutt Ruling Council rules the planet through splinter cell private government agency, owned by a rather foul Klatooinian, Barotas. He currently has the final say when it comes to deciding who owns the planet. Show him that the Black Sun is the true owner of the house.

Orondia:
The desolate planet of Orondia, run by vicious pirates, scammers, splicers, and any other foul villain you could think of. With a fuel depot at its core. The Black Sun now looks over it as the fuel could be put to good use if under the right control.

Objective 1: Gettin' Oily
The main oil reserve is currently under the leadership of some very corrupt businessmen who use the credits they gain from the oil sales to profit their own ego. The Black Sun can take good gain off of the money if it was under their control. "Persuade" the businessmen into ownership of the oil reserves.

Objective 2: Shipping and Handling
Mainly ships, freighters, and other vehicles flood the station to refuel for their next destination. Many of them contain stolen goods which have somehow been taken from the Black Sun cartel, which they cannot have. Take back what's rightfully yours.

Objective 3: Scum Scamming
The higher ups of the oil station have been recently feuding for control over. The main man, a Bith by the name of Kidis has more control of the station, yet he is losing it gradually. The opportunity aligned with this civil war could be expeditingly great for the Black Sun. Use this opportunity to scam him, in order to get his opponent, a Black Sun agent to win over the station. (This objective would most likely come later.)

Jilrua:
Inhabited by a race of war like beings, Jilrua stands as a hot desert planet. Serving under the Hutts, Jilruans work as attendants, bodyguards, and pirates, trying to make a living off of what they could do. No strangers to combat, The Black Sun could use their ferocious bite and brawn against the enemies they may come in contact with.

Objective 1: Delegation Meeting
In order to ask for their support, the Jilruans have agreed to sit and discuss a deal that can be made. Chat with the Jilruan population and use your words to make them rally behind you and the Black Sun.

Objective 2: Round 1, Fight!
The Jilruan people excel when it comes to combat. Often used as gladiators for the Hutts entertainment, many Jilruan warriors have fought through multiple hordes of enemies, rather just for the fun of it or as a way of survival. A tournament, brought in to recent chatter, is being hosted by one of the Hutts who decided they needed a good fight to watch. Enter yourself in, and brawl your way to the top. Influencing the Hutt into working with the Black Sun might just what needs to be done to get more Jilruan support.
