General behavior: They are an isolated plant. They will over run other plants through growth (branching out) and kill them.

History:

The plant was discovered during a scientific/engineering(site location) expedition through the forest regions when the team were scouting a reasonable place to construct Thorn of the Black Rose Facility. Two scientists, after carelessly handling the plant without gloves, had come down with a fever; dying two hours later.

Research and observation of the plant began immediately. During one of the team's investigation of the plant, one of the dogs belonging to one of the scientists had ingested some of the leaves from the plant, and died within twenty minutes.

Due to the highly toxic nature of the plant and because of the Covenant of the Black Rose's to study harmful, if not deadly, applications from plant life in order to create viruses, several of the plants were taken as specimens. However, during the first attempt they discovered that prolonged exposure to the sun caused them to wilt and die. The second trip they took more precautions and brought back several examples.

Through various testing applications, they discovered the plant was also vulnerable to cold, temperatures of 40 degrees or colder. They also noted that the plant did not live long but to counter it's short life span, that the seeds/spores bloomed quickly. As they progressed further into their studies, they realized the aggression of the plants when introduced with others; giving them an understanding why the plants were isolated upon the initial discovery.

Several labs/greenhouses were designated for the growing of this deadly plant.

Notable Player-Characters: Darth Venefica / Covenant of the Black Rose

Intent: The plant will be used as the basis of the Black Orchid Virus (it's toxic properties mingled with those of other toxic plants and Sith Alchemy [Submission for Black Orchid Virus will be submitted to the Factory after the dev thread for the virus is completed])*

*It should be noted that the forthcoming virus will not be a super-weapon but will have ways to be countered and treated. Also, it will not be sprung on the galaxy to commit acts of genocide. The plant will have a lot of uses for the Covenant of the Black Rose for future projects.

You can just use this to describe their diet.

Otherwise this is a good submission and everything else checks out nicely.
