Operations: Binary Buddies, on the surface, is a small Astromech Droid Production company that provides custom-built droids for high-paying clientele. In reality, they do provide said services, and they do so quite well. The true purpose behind the company, however, is far more Sinister - it provides cover for Mala Arar's Sithy activities, giving her a veneer of legitimacy behind which she can hide.
Rationale: Mala Arar, Sith Apprentice. That has a nice ring to it, admittedly, but it isn't exactly something you can put on your passport and expect to get away with. Beyond that, the young Coruscanti woman, having left most traces of her old life behind, no longer had access to the sort of funds she did before, when she could still occasionally ask her parents for money. So what was a Sithling to do? The answer was simple: turn a joke, made amongst friends one night after too many drinks, into an actual cover story. The Sithling gathered up some of the shadiest mechanics and slicers she could find, all with one purpose: to provide the best bloody custom astromech droids on the market.

Instead of mass-producing Droids, potential buyers contact the company - Five employees in total, including the CEO herself - and request custom built astromechs, or modifications to already existing droids. While not officially pledged to any government or faction, its CEO and Founder is a Sith, and as such, Binary Buddies refuses to take requests from either the Galactic Alliance or the Silver Jedi Order. Sith buyers, as well, receive a 25% Discount on all droid prices, and any buyer with known anti-Jedi sentiment may receive up to a 15% Discount.
