Biggest Bash of All Time

Vokun pushed the sleeve of his right arm toward his elbow, then the other, while reading over the datapad in front of him. The courier stood patiently as he did, gaze roaming around the reception hall of the Shining Palace of Val'hala. It was a grand and lush place, filled with a thousand millenia of donations for the prophesied return of the Gods.

Since his most recent return, Vokun had taken to returning much to the people. It was the least he could do.

"No, wait. Where are the numbers for the Corellian ale? I ordered three hundred shipments. I don't see-" As Vokun spoke, the courier gestured toward the bottom, "Oh ok." He went back to silently taking in the orders. Several million credits from his own coffers went into the party that was going to be raging soon enough, not to mention double digit millions from Ahvulan, and near the same garnered from other investors.

This bash was planned for weeks in advance, including the renting of several dozen miles worth of party space on Val'hala. It included upper levels too. The more space available the better, seeing as how potentially millions of people would be present round the clock.

Combined in the spaces were hotels, clubs, shops, all sorts, retrofitted to be perfect additions to the situations. Within, and out, were mass speakers installed so that the music could be heard quite literally for miles on end. Booze would flow like water from heavy clouds. Legal mood raising habits would be allowed as well. Even the policing units that would be present were told to only intervene in combat situations, or if exclusively barred drugs were evident.

This was the second most populated planet in the Galaxy, backing their GodKings urge to throw a party. It would be massive.

"Looks good. Get things moving, please. There is already a large amount out there, but not much compared to the numbers of people. Don't wanna face a riot." Vokun commented, signing the datapad then returning it. Moving past the guy, Vokun headed for an elevator. Drawing his blue shades from the breast pocket of his outfit, Vokun loosely slid them onto the bridge of his nose. Sighing absent mindedly, he watched the elevator open to the roof of the Ahvulan HQ Tower. Walking to the edge, he boosted the sound of his voice, shouting to all around, "Welcome, to the first party of this size. Every level, from the ground up, all thousand and more of them, are available for use in this event. Every room, of every building, is open for whatever purposes deemed it fit. Drinks, cigarettes, recreational drugs, everything you can ask for - is free of charge.

"We of Ahvulan simply ask for patronage. Should you need something down the line, come to us for it. Enjoy your time, the party begins now, and ends when there isn't any more too party for." As his voice died down, the music began. Raucous club music rocked the heavens as he stared down from high.

The Reaper of Won Shasot
Dax finished buttoning up his shirt and looked himself in the small mirror aboard the Azalea before brushing back his hair. The man couldn't help but let out the tiniest groan. He wasn't exactly much for socializing. Hands reached around his waist from behind and a head rested on his shoulder, Kumi Asha staring at him, smiling through the mirror.
"Well don't you look handsome." she said, her words carried by a lilting accent.

Ever since Dax had first taken the woman off her homeworld for the first time, she had found plenty of things in the modern galaxy that she loved...partying was definitely high on that list. Not the drugs mind you, it was the atmosphere...and the alcohol. Although Dax wouldn't have been surprised if the clubs spiked the drinks a little to get it there. Some place or another Kumi had heard of the mother of all parties. And of course, she begged to go. After nearly a month of begging, the Rogue had finally yielded, figuring his crew could also use some much needed shore leave.

"Course I do. I always look handsome." the man joked, a cocky smile on his face. The woman released her prey and slapped his shoulder playfully. Dax turned around and leaned back against the mirror. His date had elected to wear a black skirt and dark blue top. Dax was wearing jeans and a tan button up. "I guess I gotta go change huh."
"Yeah."

Koda had been getting ready for Vokun's party. She wasn't much of a partier, but would if invited. She had gone through a few different dresses until she had found the one. Everything had either been a bit too formal, underdressed or just not her style. Then there was one that matched her perfectly. It was an ice dress that had shown her personality to the fullest.

Her hair was then pulled back elegantly. Koda looked at herself in the mirror and had never thought she could look so elegant before. Now she wasn't just a fighter, she was a lady. She didn't like the sound of that, but she felt good for some reason. Now she had a party to get to. She wasn't a big one for parties, especially when drugs came into use. They were not her thing. She preferred more of the drinks than drugs. That was the only thing she disliked about the party.

Living with her master had been fairly nice. She had her own room and even a bed to sleep in. She hadn't had so much since before her parents died. And even now, she had more than what she had before. All of a sudden, music was blasting and she could only guess what that meant. Heading down, she decided to find her master.

Kay walked into the establishment, flanked by a few bodyguards in suits. They were all taller than her and imposing. She had heard [member="Vokun"] 's announcement just outside of the main entrance. Already Kay had made up her mind about not touching any of the drinks. Though some might find it fun to lose themselves in the music and nothingness that getting drunk and high on spice will get you, Kay preferred to keep her wits about her, as well as remain in control. As always her Force signature was shrunk down to the size of a small tree nut and that took a certain amount of focus that she didn't want to lose.

She moved through the crowd easily enough, her guards helping with that, but in no way were they rough with the patrons. Only a look and touch on the shoulder was enough.

Why was she here? To explore more opportunities for her world, her government. One can never have too many allies. Making this trip unnanounced, she had hoped that her Senate didn't catch wind of it, lest they try to create a scandal out of it.

[member="Koda Berus"] was also dressed in a style more befitting of a higherclass event. At least Kay wasn't the only one.

[member="Dax Fyre"]

From his position on high, towering at the peak of the skies, Vokun nodded lightly to the beat as it slowly cascaded around him through the air. When it neared what was known as the drop, he slowly extended his arms outward in front of himself, until at the same moment when the song held the barest pause, his hands were vertical. Then both they and the music blasted out, a torrent of literal light, projected from the centers of his palms into the clouds overhead. In the night as it was the vanilla beams that ever more signalled the start of the party. With a simple urge of his mind and his control of the force, the lights from his hands began to alternate colors through the spectrum. While he was a master of the Force, such would have been meaninglesss, incredibly easy in spite of the complex nature of the talent. It was simply his talent to manipulate the light.

As it was, he happily ceased the hold over the light as the strobes in the surrounding area also picked up. Now from multiple points sabers of alternating colored lights sliced and swiped at the air, all the while he now reached to Paxim who had brought him a drink. Holding said beverage to the skies his voice boomed, "Enjoy!" Salute finished he downed the drink. Turning back for the elevator he glanced to his second in command, "How are things? Any issues too note yet?"

"None." Paxim replied, for the first time he was not in his usual attire, but the rare suit he wore to get togethers when he was with Zaiden. His brown hair slicked back also accentuated his high cheek bones, making him appear very regal, "Everything is just starting though. Give it a few hours."

"Of course." Entering the sliding doors, the transport began to lower.

"Someone of note is here though, reportedly. Her people gave a brief intel of her arrival during check in, and she seems a queen or something. I didnt gather all of the information. I believe they said her name was Lady Kay." Pax said, folding his arms and leaning his shoulder against the wall of the small cubicle.

"Please let her know she can request my presence if she would like to speak, maybe have a drink or something. It is a party after all." Vokun said stepping off the transport, into the lobby of the tower before exiting. The moment he did, it was quite interesting. It was like cinqo de mio, only in Star Wars. Millions, literally, danced and mobbed around in the streets above, below, and on the same as he, "Where is-"

"Koda? Not sure." Paxim replied.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay watched a holo-display of what [member="Vokun"] was doing. She raised a brow as beams of light extended outwards from his palms. He must be a Force User. Given that she was in politics, she wasn't used to such blatent displays of power. And yet, no one seemed to care about it. How interesting. Her husband had spoken with her many times about embracing her gifts instead of hiding them. Yet politics didn't allow her the freedom to do so. Force users weren't trusted in power.

She shook her head as a passing server offered to get her a drink. "No thank you. Perhaps later." Or perhaps never. A tiny white lie, but she didn't want to seem rude. Kay made her way through the crowd, heading over to one of the side walls, the furthest from the speakers. As she leaned against it slightly, another server walked by and offered her a drink. She shook her head again and pointed to the holo-display that showed Vokun's image. "No thank you. But I want to speak to him. Tell him that the Queen of Commenor wishes to see him at his earliest convenience. Thank you."

Vokun slid a beanie, an Epic Hat to be specific, onto the top of his head. It covered just the tips of his ears, but also the whole top of the cranium... but it also did more. This had made his mind untouchable. It could not be read, altered, influenced or anything else. As well it was stylish. This was a part of the change that had effected his life as of late. His final death, the most recent, had been the most finalized. Yet through a miracle he was revived, placed into a new body alongside the new species it was made up of. Hence the decision to alter everything about himself. His need to be ever present in a suit of millions of creds worth, shoes that could pay for a small cities food supply.

Now here he was. The most expensive thing he wore was the silk shirt. Over it was the vest in which was a blend, it was nice but simple. A proper attire addition for the head of a planet, one about to throw a party. His pants were loose and somewhat baggy, made of a black satin accompanied by a dangling twenty inch chain that hung from a belt loop all the way around too the rear pocket, where in it was attached to the wallet resting there. Now the beanie, which too was a satin blend, though the other fiber he knew to be cotton. His shades... ok actually those were probably more expensive then the shirt.

Why did Vokun's writer need to mention all of this after linking an image? To explain the frustration growing evident on Vokun's face. The chain was getting twisted with every step he took, forcing odd sounding clinking sounds.

"Speak of the woman," Paxim said, an alert sounding from his watch where the holowatch rested. A glance at it had told him that the Commenor queen wished to meet Vokun, "-you have an appointment to make. The Queen is not making a ruckus, but she did ask to meet with you. So, up to you, do you drink more and party, or keep up appearances?"

"Where is she..." Vokun murmured. Pax, thinking he had meant it as a realistic question, began searching through the network of computers and cameras that connected wirelessly to the watch on his wrist. The Force was faster. Tapping into the senses of a hunter, as he was in a past life - lives really - Vokun sent his senses into the skies above. His Force Shadow quickly scanned the surroundings, taking in faces, groups, scents, sounds, every sign his mind could absorb. This was his element, tracking, going in for the kill - err the greeting, "There she is." Just after saying, little more than a split second after, Paxim said the same.

Though his look up was met with a grin from Vokun, who took off like a bullet. Racing down the streets like a bat from hell, the GodKing dodged then bobbed and lastly weaved around bodies before he leaped for the edge of the platform he was on. The massive planet, built unintentionally much like Coruscant, held thousands of levels, each much its own world it seemed. Each was controlled, patrolled, and handled separately, such as some being noon while the one below it might be eleven in the morning, yet two above might be three pm. Hence the leap made sense. It was an area sectioned off so as to allow vehicles to escape if they needed.

Crossing while descending over the large hole, he landed on another level, rolling to his feeting before continuing his surprising pace. It took a man moments to see the Queen and her guards, when it should have taken quadruple that otherwise.

Slowing, Vokun slid hands into pockets of his pants as he approached the woman. He nonchalantly asked, "Nice party, huh?" As he got within range.

It was [member="Vokun"] 's approach that caught her attention first. At first she figured that he was another one of the servers trying to offer her a drink. Only moments before, Kay had finally agreed and held some colourful drink in her hand. She didn't dare sample the contents of the glass, instead she merely held it in her hand, ocassionally pretending to sip from it.

Her guards watched him, but didn't make any moves against him. They had recognized him from the holo-projections and so did Kay. She also made sure that her own Force Signature was still hidden, given the display that he gave, she knew that it was best to keep her secrets close, like always.

The manner in which he spoke almost gave her the impression that he really was bored of the whole event. Appearances can be deceiving however. Kay bowed her head to him. "It is far larger than anything that I've ever come across before. However did you manage to arrange such a thing?" It was also too loud for her liking. But maybe she was just getting old, or too used to a quieter lifestyle than one that such a metropolis can offer. No doubt Vokun had plenty of help and it was good to know just how many resources another had.

Dancer

The Butcher and the Lamb
Dancer had sworn she would never return to these places. But here she was. The smell of spice, the sight of the drunken beings all over the place, the sound of the deep, throbbing music, it almost took her back to darker days when the woman had been dancing before patrons. Dancing for her life, dancing to just survive. That was all it was. She was the victim, she always had been. It was always about running from pain, running from suffering, always running from the sheer hell her life had become.

But somehow this side of the galaxy had sucked her back in, and the Dancer was once more on the party scene. This time, it was different. She was different. She wasn't a slave any more. She wasn't here to sell herself to everyone watching.

And now, she was trying to find her way through this world, trying to survive, trying to make it work--trying to just somehow somehow find a way to be ok. But that was what she would do, somehow. Someway.

What she wore, Dancer had scavenged in one way or the other. Her Leather jacket she had lifted from a dumpster, she had stolen her shirt from a department store on Denon, her jeans and belt Dancer had lifted from someone's locker in a gym. For a woman without two credits to her name who only had the clothes on her back, there weren't many other options. She wasn't proud of it, come to think of it, Dancer couldn't remember the last time she had felt proud of herself. The woman drifted through the crowds, keeping her head low, keeping her eyes down and close to the ground. her blonde hair was half-put together, half all over the place in a wild mess. She was careful to not make eye contact with anyone, her grey blue eyes flitted here and there, cautious and afraid.

Dancer found a safe corner, one near the end of a bar in the shadows and tried to look like she belonged. Her eyes darted to the left and the right, before her thin hand snatched up a container of nuts from behind the bar that quickly disappeared into her jacket. She grabbed a glass nearby of something liquid and held it close, mimicking what she had seen many patrons do from her place on stage over the years. In truth, it wasn't as natural as she hoped it would look, and her nervousness showed almost completely.

"These are my people." Vokun replied, nothing more needed be said. These people, any Val'halain, were extremely devout. To a zealous degree. Toward insanity truly. "This planet has 'awaited my return for a hundred million years'" By his tone, it was obvious he found it a hard topic, "You see, the Gods here were reportedly corporeal, genuine beings. There is no Bibles, nor legends. They have spoken the memories forever. Well, supposedly one, a good lord I understand, was myself in a past life.

"Who knows. Maybe I was some powerful being. Now though? I am simply me." Vokun said, "I told them I wanted a party, they rushed to provide. I am of course doing my best to make them take payments for their charities however." He leaned against a railing near her, a respectable distance from her - not close nor far.

"God of Shadows, Zaiden James-Greyson, at your service." He offered a small bow, a flourish accompanied, "I go by Vokun, GodKing of these parts.

"Might I ask your own title?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay just stared, raising a brow as [member="Vokun"] spoke. Sure she understood that they were his people. It was what he said following that that really confused her. They thought that he was a god? Well, perhaps those that didn't know about the Force might think so, for surely he was a Force user, wasn't he?

He leaned against a railing then, while she merely stood there, holding her glass in hand while he introduced himself. She bowed her head in greeting. "Good to meet you, Zaiden James-Greyson." She refrained from using his God King title. Another brow was raised as he asked for her own title. Normally, it is her name that's asked for, though probably moreso out of politeness than anything else. But she knew full well that it was her position that most peolle were drawn to and wished to exploit for themselves. "I am Lady Kay Arenais, Queen of Commenor and Chancellor to the Commenor Systems Alliance. It's quite a mouthful, I know." She lifted up her glass and pretended to have a sip, not quite letting the liquid get close enough to touch her. "Are you all celebrating anything in particular?"

The music seemed to have gotten louder. She focused solely on Vokun, her eyes never leaving his face as she took to reading his lips as she listened to him, to be sure that she was hearing him correctly.

Vokun nodded silently while he contemplated what he knew of her title. It was little. He had been around enough now too hear of her, now that he heard it, and had been around Commenor, but that was a long while ago. She was an enigma. A smile perked his lips as he reached into his back pocket. From within emerged a pack of cigarettes.

Tapping one free he bit it between his teeth, lighting it with a light found in his left breast pocket. Flipping the top closed, he set the pack down on the railing then the lighter on that. Pulling deep on the smoke, he exhaled slowly then offered a low bow, "Its a pleasure, Kay. I feel we are past titles, as we are on equal grounds, no? So I will be calling you by your name, unless you wish otherwise.

"In regards to meaning, there is none. It was just a whim... Okay, no, that's not true. Its publicity, I guess." Vokun said, "Ahvulan, my company, is an organization that holds charities, and it has been quite a time since it did. Why not now, ya know? Well, I would love to offer my assistance, should you be in need of it for anything in the future. Or maybe in the present if you would like to get a tour of the area, or we can simply convene and blow smoke? I am quite honestly, tortuously bored of parties."

[member="Lady Kay"]

Kay watched as [member="Vokun"] lit up a smoke. Though she wasn't entirely fond of the smell, she wasn't repulsed by it either. There were worse things to insult her nose than a little bit of smoke.

She gave him a nod as he requested to call her by her name. She wasn't born into royalty, hadn't been in the role long. "I don't mind you calling me by my name. I prefer it actually, Zaiden."

Kay smirked as he spoke of being bored of parties. For one that owns a company that hosts charitable events, it was a really odd thing to say. Perhaps he's just been to far too many. She set her drink on the tray of a passing server. "I would love a tour right now, thank you. Loud parties aren't quite my thing. I prefer to hear those within my company without having to strain my ears." She waited for the man to lead the way. It wasn't often that she was on a tour. Usually she was the one showing off her own homeworld.

The Reaper of Won Shasot
As Dax and Kumi entered the ridiculously over done party, the loud music, bright flashing lights, smell of liquor and sweat of overly inebriated people, something entirely different caught Dax's attention. High above everything else stared down a Shadow. Dax was beyond intrigued. He'd never known anyone else who was able to project a Force Shadow. Usually, no one could detect shadows either...unless one already knew how to use the technique themselves the Rogue supposed.

"Dax." Kumi shook the man's arm, breaking him from his absent mindedness. He looked at and smiled, "Oh, sorry, I zoned out a sec...what is it?" The grey skinned woman began to pull the man over to a bar, a few feet away, the same one a certain leather-clad blonde had just hid herself away within. "C'mon, I wanna grab a drink!" As Dax allowed himself to be dragged away by the small woman, he looked up once more at the place where he had sensed the Shadow. Gone.

Dancer

She swallowed hesitantly, her fingers quickly thumping the glass. Her breath came in quick, suppressed huffs.

Relax, Dancer could hear the voice of Edme, I'm not sensing any danger. We're ok.

Come on, the chipper voice of Trick piped in, Let me take over. This is my thing, after all.

"No!" Edme and Ellissah both said at the same time. The thought was so forceful it came out as a spoken word.

Dancer shut her eyes tight, gripping the bar with both hands till her knuckles were white. Her grit with intensity, the entire world seemed to be spinning around her as the voices in her head began to grapple in a full out melle. It made her head hurt, it made her whole being ache and her body almost quiver.

You want a job done right, you gotta do it yourself, Trick taunted. Who put bread in our mouth and clothes on our body when we were hungry and cold? That was me.

Yeah, and who threw us deep in damn crap that I had to pull us out of? That's you again. Edme growled back.

I have to make you feel important, or you won't have a place here at all, Trick giggled back. Would you rather have it that way?

Both of you shut up, Briona snapped, Or I'm taking over.

Ooooh, so scary, Trick mocked.

Dancer felt a sting across her face as Edme slapped the thief. She blinked away the tears as Dax came closer towards the blonde headed woman.

"Go away," she muttered, forcing herself back to the moment. "Leave me--" her eyes locked on the couple who came to the bar next to her. Dancer's eyes widened for a second in surprise and her cheeks colored a bright red with embarrassment. How much had they heard? Had she spazzed out in front of them? Were they about to report her in or something? The woman couldn't go back to the assylum, there was no hope for her there. And it was horrible.

"Oh, not you two, I was--uh--talking to someone else," she fumbled over her words.

Good going, loser, Trick disparaged her.

That's it. My turn, Briona said forcing her way to the front.

Dancer straightened up, taking a more confident and composed posture as she ran her fingers through her messy hair. The woman flashed a slightly shy and winsome smile. "Sorry, the music just takes me back to places. Makes me uncomfortable." the woman held her glass up, giving it a slight whirl at the two, "I'm Briona, what's your name, you lovely couple?"

Koda stood on the landing at the top of the stairs watching as everyone mingled in the crowd. She was watching for her master. She had no idea where he was. Soon, a beam of light split into the sky as the party began. She made her way towards where he was quickly, picking her dress up to walk.. Or more like jog. With the heels she had on, it was a bit tough, so she couldn't exactly run. By the time she got to where her master was, he was gone. Koda sighed. She had seen [member="Lady Kay"] on her way, being escorted by guards. She had also been dressed for a more formal occasion. It seemed that seeing each other eased some nerves a touch. [member="Vokun"] may have described what type of party it was, but whatever. This was the best suited dress for her.

Walking around a little bit more, she kept searching for Vokun until she came across Paxim who seemed to clean up fairly well. She walked up to him looking slightly miserable and gave a smile.

"Look at you! You look great! You clean up very well. Also, where the heck is Vokun? I can't find him anywhere."

She told him. Koda was slightly worried, but she figured he was busy with other people to worry about her at the moment. Besides, there were many people here and he probably found some old friends to hang out with.

Vokun gestured the direction her guards were facing, "Lets go this way then." For a moment he simply enjoyed the smoke of his cigarette, but eventually he plucked it from his mouth and flicked it into a nearby ashtray, "Loud parties used to be one of my favorite things in life. But since I came back from the other side," He shrugged absentmindedly. His was obviously a life he held no quarrel with revealing. There was the admittance of death and return, his showing his Force prowess a bit. Though, it was just who he was.

"So, how goes things on Commenor?" Vokun inquired, glancing at his companion, slipping his hands into his pockets. Things were a bit tense for himself, as he hated being followed by guards. They weren't for him, yet it felt suffocating in a small way.

"That, right there," Vokun gestured ahead to the right, "-is the main hub for our gaming industry. Its called Valor, and currently they are an up and coming corporation about card games and video games of different types." He then gestured to the left, further ahead, where a basement level of his own company sat, "That building is mine - Ahvulan. We sell armaments, protective gears, pharmaceuticals, and more. Plus the charities, which are a more notable thing we do."

Pausing in his place, Vokun held up a finger, "So sorry, beg your pardon." With that his body would go slack a bit as his senses once more shot skyward through his Force Shadow. Pax had sent him a mental nudge, so he sought out his closest living friend. Aaah, Koda is here. He thought silently, watching as they conversed.

"Thank you Lady Heir," Paxim offered the proper title to the Heir of Power, the apprentice to the GodKing, "I have been told as much. If you seek your future husband, I'll show you too him." He grinned at his joke, and the only being on the planet with as much authority as himself, other than the GodKing.

As they quickly made their way toward his current position, Vokun returned to his body, "I apologize for that. My apprentice is on her way here, if you would not mind waiting a moment for her arrival, we can continue on."

Just as Dax reached the counter, a loud, "No!" come from a table just beside himself. A rather nervous woman seemed to be talking to herself. Now, Dax was never one to judge, but he certainly found this odd...and intriguing. He had only noticed that he had been staring, and evidently Kumi had been as well, as the blonde haired woman stumbled over her words. And then, a visible change overcame the woman as her posture changed. When she spoke, that was different as well. Despite the smile on the woman's face, Dax didn't quite believe the lie.
"I'm Dax." he said as he turned in his chair to face her.
"And I'm Kumi." the grey-skinned woman said as she leaned on her lover. "What bring you here, Briona?" she asked as Dax gestured to the bartender and ordered two drinks.

Koda had looked to Paxim as he responded to her. Hearing what he said, she blushed heavily and smacked his arm lightly giving a smile. She was slightly shocked at the formality, but on the controversy, it did make her feel better about herself. Koda smiled once more as she gave a slight bow of her head to Paxim as she then let him lead the way to @Vokun.

"Thank you Paxim.. The formality still surprises me. I have to say."

She responds. Vokun had to have been watching at the time, or Paxim just had a thing for making her blush. Soon, they arrived to where Vokun and [member="Lady Kay"] was. She looked to her master and smiled, before she saw the guards and her eyes went to Kay. Out of respect, Koda bowed her head to her.

"My lady."

She said in a calm voice. Koda then looked to her master and bowed her head to him as well.

"Master."

She would seem fairly stiff. She had been in the presence of high status, never realizing that she herself had chosen that life by becoming Vokun's apprentice. Koda was unsure how to react at the moment. Instead, she would keep quiet and observe until spoken to.

The blonde leaned in on her elbow, resting her cheek against a her knuckles as the two introduced themselves. She nodded to them both, very poised.

Oh, an inter-racial couple, that is so sweet, Elissah thought, Good for them to not let race stand in the way of love.

You are such a romantic, Edme said with a roll of her eyes. I swear sometimes, if I wasn't around we'd get swept off our feet by the first person to offer us flowers.

But we were, weren't we? Elissah whimpered back softly. And was that so bad?

It was when she died, Trick sulked from the back, her voice thick with dark humor and tension.

Dax Fyre said:
"What bring you here, Briona?"

Briona was hardly dazed by the conversation going on in the back of her mind. She was the head of this operation, she could stiff arm her will through all of it and more if she had to. Or get them to all shut up if worst came to worst.

"Well, as the saying goes, nothing beats what's free. It seemed like a nice excuse to try some new drinks and meet some new people," she said with a humorous twinkle in her grey eyes. The blonde woman brought her glass of alcohol to her lips, taking just a sip. It was bitter, stung, and was frankly horrible. She was grateful she only took a sip. Her lips puckered a bit and she shook her head vigorously, "Ugh, that was definitely not delicious."

The woman waved the bartender over, "Get me something else, anything else. I don't care what just get this," she pushed the glass towards the man behind the bar, "away from me."

While her new glass was prepared, Briona turned her attention back to the couple who sat beside her, "What about you two? I mean, of course, besides the whole date night thing, right?"

She flashed a quick smile towards the two, her ivory fingers wrapping around the new glass before her.
