SKILLS & TRAITS

Severed:
Beyl was cut off from the Force as punishment for a past betrayal. Although blind to the Force, he can feed off its residual energy when in the presence of Force users and other Force entities to temporarily reconnect and draw from the power he once had.

Addict: As a result of his severance, Beyl has become addicted to the Force and seeks out powerful Force users, artifacts, and nexi as a way to feed his connection. If he spends too much time removed from the Force, Beyl grows impatient and reckless, willing to seek out a source at any cost, and has even lived among Force orders and other cults to quench his needs.

Warrior: The former Cipherum-Knight was trained in the various Jedi martial arts, including hand-to-hand and lightsaber combat. As an Evereni, Beyl has incredible durability, clawed hands, and sharp teeth to rely upon in battle.

Bricked: Like all Cipherum, Beyl relied extensively on cybernetics to augment his abilities. When he was exiled from the order, those cybernetics were bricked but left intact for his body to treat as invasive objects. Pain and illness are common symptoms as his flesh seeks to reject the foreign instruments that once made him feel as if a god.

Spacer: Beyl has spent his entire exile as a wanderer among the stars. He pilots the same tiny freighter and has learned to make improvised modifications and work around disrepair. However, all that isolation and star travel has left him stricken with psychological burdens, a lost sense of time, and poor memory recall.

HISTORY

Beyl was once hailed as among the Cipherum's greatest warriors, until one day he betrayed everything. He remembers the act, but not the reason that led to his exile, and had his connection to the Force severed. That was the mercy--for his punishment is to wander the stars until death.

Yet, exile was not the end of his bonds. The Evereni made a final vow to hunt down and rid the galaxy of things like Sith and Jedi on the path to his bitter end.
