Bestine IV

Bestine IV was well known for its aquacultural values and the islands it had across the planet which made it harder to colonize on initially. Ethan really found it boring, there was little to do in the oceans but their planet had a large navy and was useful in ship repairs. The seas may have been shallow, but they never ended. Ethan lived on one of the largest islands on the planet, making it the Capital. It wasn't particularly a beautiful planet that might catch your eye, but it was certainly known.

Ethan was often kept in the protection of his home for his own security, but he was never one to follow the rules, besides you could hardly get lost on an island. He had gone to the furthest edge of the island and sat on one of the small docks that was used for local fishing. He stared out into the vast, seemingly empty ocean, wondering what could be out there that they didn't know about. It wouldn't be unusual for him to be out here, he often came out to avoid visitors as well.

While he had of course noticed that [member="Ethan Matumaini"] was there, Janus had not said anything to him yet. He had come to this planet alone for the time being, and was apparently sent here for one reason or another. Regardless of whatever it was that he had been dispatched for, the blue-skinned Twi'lek was done with his work and had some time before he was ready to leave in his fighter once more.

Walking toward the end of the dock, he carefully drew his silver reflective sun shawl around himself after pulling up a pair of fingerless sleeve-like gloves. Figuring that Ethan was indeed here to find quiet time, he simply leaned down and allowed himself to sit down next to the other, quite silent in his own right.

To be perfectly honest it actually seemed like the respectful thing to do, and if he had ever hoped to catch a fish on this aquatic world he figured that silence was part of a prudent course of action.

Ethan gasped, suddenly there was a blue skinned man sitting next to him. He was shocked at both being approached and the fact there was a blue skinned man, or well Twi'lek. He stared at Janus, having never seen a Twi'lek before, it proved to be quite a shock. He soon realised that staring was rude and he turned his gaze back to the water, trying to comprehend what he just saw. Having spent all his life on Bestine and with little culture from other planets, he had not come across a lot of species before.

"W-what are you?" he couldn't help but ask, trying to put it in the politest manner as possible before realising that no matter how you put it, it was still a rude question to ask someone you just met.

Looking up slowly, Janus actually had seemed rather surprised that the other individual had not recognized his species right away. Raising a brow a bit, his lekku head tentacles started to sway a bit as he stepped away from [member="Ethan Matumaini"] for fear of frightening him.

"I am a member of the Twi'lek species; we are originally native to the planet Ryloth. However, I was born in the Fornax system, which is most famous for it's treacherous rings."

Having paused totally, he gave the other the opportunity to allow this to sink in, though to Janus it was nothing. If he wasn't the sort to really warm up to aliens, however, the Twi'lek would have simply had to find somewhere else to go and rest for a while.

Had Ethan not reacted as he did, though, he wouldn't have really said anything at all, and would have left the human to his own devices as such.
