Beside the Roaring Sea (Julius)

It was a quiet day for Ultimatum, what work he had had was completed and there was nothing to keep his mind busy. It would have continued being a pleasant day, except there was once more trouble with his latest find. The ancient artificial intelligence, SCORPIO, was quite a handful for the droid. Within a month of having 'rescued' the long lost AI, it had attempted no less than a dozen actions against Ultimatum. The first had been understandable, SCORPIO had broken out of its containment datapad and uploaded onto Ultimatum's database, gaining information on historical events and the current galactic situation. Later ones had been more invasive and increasingly difficult to combat. As it was Ultimatum was being forced to secure all of his systems, across every single droid. A monumental task, but one that was required since all of his droids were connected via one program.

He had been halfway through the work before he had received information on other happenings. Mustafar had been quiet world since the Alliance had taken over, they had been kind enough to allow him to maintain command of the world. It was time to go through the various world monitoring systems to be certain of security. Even if he was contemplating retirement from leadership, he had decided to maintain the same level of control and security of the people no matter what.

It wasn't very often Julius made his way to Mustafar. Might not been ever, if he were honest. However, exceptions were always to be made to a set of habits if one wanted to keep alive. The war in the Core was heating up, and the One Sith were reeling and bloodied, against the ropes as the Alliance prepared for a haymaker the likes of which would send any shock-boxer reeling from the force of it. Julius aimed to make sure Corellia wasn't forgotten, again, in the hullabaloo of Galactic power struggles. That it would remain free, to as large a degree as any could be, and in control largely of its' own destiny.

But with the war reaching a fevered pitch, he found himself more and more often wondering if there was not something more that could be done. So research had started. Yes, Julius read holojournals on occasion, try not to be too shocked! Artificial Intelligence was something he had hit upon certain elite warriors employing. Often coupled with a ship or armor and weapons to make them even more capable in battle. Able to read electric currents, hack defenses, control weapons with a thought and possess through the program an encyclopedic capacity for battle lore and knowledge. He had even drawn up some notes on his way in, of what he thought might be useful.

And then he had sought of the premier expert on such things within Alliance space. He just hoped the Lord Of Mustafar would meet him.

The meeting had been prearranged and was therefore a priority above other actions for the day. Ultimatum was having to restructure his intended course as needed to make up for the flare in security upgrades. This was by no means annoying to him, it was an exercise in his ability to adapt his programing to unexpected circumstances. He was a few minutes late to the meeting with [member="Julius Sedaire"].

A room had been prepared in the spaceport for the gathering. Originally it had been a room for the searching of individuals and their luggage, but it had been redecorated awhile back to fit a more professional class of interaction. Ultimatum had used it once before, when meeting with a Force user who had unlocked a Holocron for the droid. Since then it had retained that purpose of a secure location to interact with offworlders. Most of the organics he had met normally wanted to be off the planet as soon as possible, given its hostile ecosystem.

He entered the room and politely stated, "Apologies for the delay, an unexpected issue arose that needed immediate attention. How was your trip?"
