STRENGTHS

High Performance: Appearances to the contrary, this little iron bird is a beast of a machine and can really shine once it is let off the chain. Fast, maneuverable and with a deceptively high altitude.

Practical: Fuel converter and Rylith power cell mean that, provided the rest of the machine is maintained, the Bes’galaar can keep on trucking with minimal resources.

Workhorse: In addition to the high performance, the Bes’galaar has a high cargo capacity.

WEAKNESSES

Not A War Machine: Unusually for a Mandalorian item, it does not come with any armaments as standard.

Low Defence: The Bes’galaar doesn’t offer much in the way of personal safety. You’re exposed to the elements and everything else.

DESCRIPTION

The Bes’Galaar - ‘Iron Bird’ in Mando’a - is the latest entry from SR&L’s catalogue, seemingly taking a break from spacecraft to once again delve into atmospheric vehicles.

She might not be the prettiest girl on the block, but with a surprising amount of high performance parts under the hood, there’s no denying that she has it where it counts. Yet at her core, she is built with a sense of affordable reliability and practicality you’d expect from a predominantly Mandalorian run company. That nifty scoop fuel converter for instance, enables the Bes’galaar to recharge fuel cells from the planets atmosphere, while the rylith power cell merely requires solar energy to do the same. This allows the Bes’galaar to run at a fraction of the cost of other speeder bikes and swoops the market. That integrated joyhopper on the other hand, gives the girl a much higher operating altitude should the need arise, a handy asset when navigating through unpredictable terrain.

All told, she might not be the complete package, but she’s not the worst addition to a prospective spacer’s loadout.

I do have one question on this, since not having integrated weapons is a given weakness-

It's able to be modified with time and components- does that mean it would be able to be retrofitted with weaponry?

That could be possible, although the hypothetical owner should submit a unique variant accordingly in that instance. That would free up enough ratings to provide at most an average rating.

I would recommend that they could include a new weakness around the strain it could place on the energy cells, since they're only geared to power the current load out, but that's entirely up to them at that point.
