BB none lethal weapon discussion

From talking to some people, looking at you [member="Mara D'Lessio"] Merrill I'm trying to work out a non-lethal weapon melee weapon he could train with and use with force skills as a killie lightsaber seems a little to lethal considering with a flick of the wrist you could decapitate someone.

My idea was taken from my own martial arts experience and to maybe make him a tricked out bokken or something in that vain.

Seeing as we now have access to Phink I was thinking basing the tech for it off of electro staffs.

Abilities something like this...

Material Phink

+Penetrate and neutralize ray shields just as Electro-Staves

+Lightsaber resistant.

+Emitters within the blade have different power settings, going from a stunning jolt to a deadly charge.

-Can be cut by lightsaber with multiple direct hits or prolonged contact.

-Limited battery life, power supply not infinite as a lightsabers

Could still use a lightsaber... Check this thread here.. Specifically the bit on the Kathracite variant of Adegan crystal:

Kathracite can produce a stunning sting rather than a lethal edge.

Sounds right up your alley. Could even make it a light whip, light pike, saber staf, or guard shoto or something else to keep it exotic.

Great find! I'm back in the lightsaber business again!

Because I still want a little exotic to the weapon how about a greatsaber figure I use the combination of a Kathracite and Damind crystal to give it the non-lethal effects and have it be a wider blade?

Thinking something like 1.4 meters in length (55" about the average blade length of a claymore)
