SPECIAL FEATURES

N/A

Strengths:
  • Increased Reaction Time: The drug allows the brain to process things faster, allowing the user to move and act faster than normal.
  • Feel No Pain: The drug allows the user to not feel pain, letting them fight on when a normal being would be disabled by pain.
  • Mighty: The drug enhances the user’s strength, amplifying it and empowering them to keep going
Weaknesses:
  • Absorption Time (Oral only): While the oral drug is more potent and lasts longer, the effects are not immediate. It takes about twenty minutes to a half hour (depending on the subject) for the pill to start to take effect.
  • It’s there for a reason: Although the drug may save your life, ignoring pain oftentimes will cause more damage to the body, and possibly make said damage and wounds irreparable.
  • Rejection: Sometimes, the body just can’t handle the meds. In the case of the Baud 4 drug, this can cause the worst side effects of the drug to occur, including violent muscle spasms, extreme lightheadedness, severe migraines, and in the worst case, a coma or even death.
  • Sleep it off: Subjects always show to feel drowsy an hour after taking the drug. It's recommended to be to safety by then, but it could be pushed through.
DESCRIPTION
Stimulants are an easy way to make the average soldier match those out of his league. In many cases, they’re a last-ditch effort, or a way to counteract a superior opponent. After all, if you can become stronger, faster, or tougher than someone, why not take it over losing your life?

The Baud 4 stim was created in that mindset. With a combination painkiller, muscle enhancer and mental stimulant similar to that in the Hypermolar, the drug can allow the user to push through debilitating circumstances and keep moving. When survival is key, there are few better stims than the Baud 4.

That said, there is reason to hesitate. If the body reacts to the drug, it will only cause more problems, and on the field, is more than likely to cause death to the subject. There seems to be a very low chance of this occurring, to the point of only 5% of the testing population has shown signs of any reaction. With luck, future meds will have lower severe reactions.

The side effects will start to grow as the drug runs its course. Granted, not everyone will get all of them, and things like nausea and vomiting for the oral med or the rash from the injection are rare, but you’re guaranteed to start feeling drowsy by the one hour mark. Whether other symptoms will occur beyond that depends on the subject.
