OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
 • Unit Name: Battlewell Shock Troopers
 • Affiliation: Battlewell Security and Arms, whoever wishes to hire them.
 • Classification: Shock Troopers, superior infantry with more training.
 • Equipment: Troopers can use other equipment, but are not equipped with such equipment by default.
COMBAT INFORMATION
 • Availability: Uncommon
 • Deployment: Minor
 • Description: Offering food, shelter, and credits, Ke'Cholo opened a division of Battlewell Security and Arms to public admission. Candidates were taken through brief physical and psychological testing in order to see if they made the minimum requirements. If they passed, they were offered a job as a mercenary for Battlewell security and arms. The lowest and most basic mercenary one could become was a Shock Trooper. Becoming one takes weeks of intense training. All Shock Troopers are outfitted with large cloaks that have blaster resistance. Each trooper is also outfitted with a heavy repeating blaster rifle and an oxygen tank (when needed). The oxygen tank can only hold around 2 hours of air, but is vulnerable to attacks by ion weaponry. The troopers are also slow, lugging around an oxygen tank and a cloak full of durasteel tends to do that.
Strengths:

Excellent marksmen
Organized, work well together
Trained Well

Weaknesses:
Slow
Risk of overheating due to heavy equipment

This link is broken.

All Shock Troopers are outfitted with large cloaks that have blaster resistance. This blaster resistance comes from compartmentalized durasteel dust pocketed inside the cloak. Any individual trooper can survive a shot or two in the same spot, but anything more will penetrate the cloak. Heavy blasters will more than likely penetrate in one shot.
You don't really need to go into detail about why the cloak offers blaster resistance, as this would be more suitable for a factory submission involving the cloak. You'll definitely want to remove exact numbers in regards to how many shots it takes to kill a Shocktrooper or damage their armor, as both the factory and the codex are against that kind of explicit quantification.

Equipment: No equipment submitted to the factory will be used by this unit.
This seems limiting in an unnecessary way. Are you sure?

Oxygen tank can be disrupted by Ion weapons

Blaster Resistance from Cloak
These are equipment strengths and weaknesses - you want to focus on the strengths and weaknesses of the unit as a whole, not their equipment.

Added in a line saying they can use extra equipment, but are not equipment with said equipment by default.

Removed equipment strengths and weaknesses, added in chance of overheating and them being excellent marksmen.
