Battlebots: The Thread

ESHAN

On the world of the Echani, violence solved everything and personal combat was a high art.

A gigantic arena -- screaming fans -- tech crews and droids in every weight class -- bookies and infochants -- hookers and smugglers -- martial artists and spies.

Everyone. A cross-section of the universe.

And in the arena, MSE-007, bearing the name @[member="Electrobe"] in bright pink letters on his flank. A blaster muzzle was slung low on his flank, courtesy of the Sith scientist @[member="Valik"] -- the same man who had enhanced his speed. He awaited a challenger -- either a special droid like himself, or someone's grunt of a proxy fighter. Or maybe an organic would try its luck against him.

His wheels (for once, not wet with the blood of the innocent) smoked as he turned a donut.

It was a droid battle. Of all of the things that she'd expected to happen on Eshan, a battle of droids was not anywhere near the top of the list. Not that she had any particular problem with it, as fighting was fighting, it just seemed odd to have the fighting be in the form of inorganic beings. Still, her curiosity had led her to make her way to the arena to see what was going on. Fighting was fighting, even if it was droids. There was much to be learned from any sort of battle and she refused to sit around and not somehow participate in what was going on. That being the case, she had essentially vowed to herself that she was going to take part in this thing in some manner, in order to demonstrate what and who the Echani were.

She was surprised to find a mere mouse droid in the ring. Of all droid types, why was a mouse droid there to do battle? She stared at it for a moment, but couldn't sate the curiosity that she felt. She limped her way out into the arena, approaching the droid curiously. She'd never actually paid attention to them before. Could they even speak? That was intriguing to think about. She stopped, leaning on her cane, and looked down at the little droid for a moment. The cane was just in case she had a sick spell, she didn't really need it, but she kept it with her at all times. "Well. This is interesting. Are you prepared to fight, little droid?" She wore light armor, and her personal shield was ready on her arm, but she just watched the droid for the moment.
