Language: Shakaho
Average height of adults: 1.75m
Skin color: Icy blue
Hair color: Black, Icy blue-Dark blue
Breathes: Type I
Strengths:
Highly Resistant to the Frost: Their bodies are adapted to the cold of the world, the heavy snow fall, harsh winds and environment has made them

Damnation: The Batosai are deeply pacifistic and peaceful. The do not believe in lifting a hand to kill another being but they will talk with them, they will convince those who try and follow them to stay after them. Playing on their emotions and pride to get them to damn themselves and allow themselves to be led into death.
Weaknesses:
Internal Temperature: A detriment and why they do not normally leave their world, the Batosai cannot survive in temperatures above freezing.

Technophobic: They choose to live simple lives not becoming trapped by the machinations of the outsiders. As such beyond basic tools they do not understand and even fear some of the more advanced technology.

Non-Violent: To a dangerous fault aside from when they were almost enslaved tens of thousands of years ago the batosai are anti violence and using weapons of their own. This doesn't mean they won't use peoles emotions or psychology against them to have them fight each other, have them come after them to stroke their pride and ego so they can die.
Distinctions:
Blue Skin
Ice Shaping Skills
Humanoid appearance
Average Lifespan: 300 Years
Races: There is only one type of them
Estimated Population: 200,000,000
Diet: Ice, vegetation, meats from animals they raise. They are very simple when it comes to their basic needs and the species that have come to the world have brought plants and animals able to survive in the snow and ice.
Communication: Verbal, hand gestures
Culture: A simple culture, they do not work on many of the things like normal society, holidays, art, general culture are not a major thing they have. ornate ice carvings and music though are important to them. THeir tribes villages and banners are set up to be worked on and mark their locations. For the people themselves they have a communal family atmosphere. Where the males are regulated to hunting and gathering food while the females raise the children.

The elders of the tribes recalling and teaching the stories they work with as well as the skills for working with ice to carve it. Their beliefs revolve around spirits in the galaxy and beings who cause mischief or misfortune to those who seem to deserve it. Their nature and colder attitude towards many of the things. Believing that the objects they contain will eventually become after one hundred years sentient and alive causing misfortune.

These ideas as well as their own nature to convince those who seek hostile intent against them has depicted them as roaming beings. They do not stay in one place for longer then a century to prevent the spirits from causing misfortune to them. In the snow when they encounter others they will for those who are kind offer aid usually after observing them. Those who are hostile or see to cause ill will they will offer a chance to leave and then work to lure them further into the elements.

Another big aspect is how they talk with outsiders, those who come to see them are subject to trickery and wordplay as they might ask several questions to get an idea of their intentions and how they think. Then slowly use what they have observed to convince them to make their own requests or to come after them but they will not attack. They will just present a scenario where they damn and ruin themselves. Captured ones will generally lead people around promising great treasure but there is a different understanding between the treasures of the Batosai and the treasures of the outsiders are very different.

Technology level: Below Galactic Standard

General behavior:
With Each other: They are peaceful and relaxed with eachother. As a tribe they revolve around hunting and gathering new supplies and stocking up on them. The winters are not as much a problem as the concept as something coming at them from outside. It is often considered inconceivable that they would face trouble from their own. That level of infighting and betrayal is a human thing and they seek to not emulate the human's or the other species. Instead calling each other brother and sister as the children are raised communally by all of the mothers.

With Others: They are careful, they have been betrayed y plenty of beings and species so they do not trust them easily and they do not rely on them for much. Preferring to trust their brothers and sisters but they are still willing to listen and learn. Appearing to ones lost in a snowstorm who may be injured and offering food or help. If they are turned down or attacked they will leave them to their own devices or even lure them away and sabotage their shelter if they are close to a tribes home. For those who are friendly with them they may lead them back to their shelters or feed and heal them before vanishing. Staying with them to ensure they live but asking them to not talk about their species on the world.

With the Murakama: A feared and disliked thing they feel intense pity for, these are often considered dangerous and highly avoidable creatures but they are also a source of great sadness as the sith did it to themselves. They unleashed this plague upon the world of the Batosai with no regard for their needs or the consequences of their actions and it has marked the Batosai to dislike and distrust the sith.

With the Force: It is a foreign concept to them, something that they saw the sith use to dangerous effect on their own people to cause pain and even on them so it is regarded as a vile and dangerous things. They do not think it is the force sensitives fault however instead it is the ones who misuse the power they have been given but they do not actively seek to train their people in the use of the force.

History: Not much is known about the Batosai as a species, they live and hide in the snow covered world of Faustin far away from most civilizations and when they are encountered it is usually by lost explores who die of the exposure on the world or from the infected that have been left on their world. Once they were considered thriving by basic standards, they had cities and settlements across the planets until the Infinite Empire came to the world.

Seeking slaves they met resistance and with an uprising they did what they did best. Orbital destruction of the worlds civilizations sending them mostly back to the stone age of their technology. The once peaceful race not finding much they could do as they scattered to the far corners of the world to get away from the destruction that was slowly reclaimed by the world itself. Covering and obscuring the ruins until thousands of years passed and new beings came.

These ones sought to construct temples on the world a great one carved into mountain with a large library. Their clothing was strange and not fit for the harshness of the world as several misunderstandings occurred with the outsiders treating them like beasts who needed to be exterminated on their own planet. The harsh weather conditions leading to their being able to hide and fight back in the most basic way.

They used the environment to their advantage not attacking directly and not really showing aggression to the ones who came to attack them but they still would appear to them in snowstorms both males and females, students and the masters working with their bodies to lure them out and deeper into the mountains. Into the storms or into the caves where they would become lost and perish from exposure. For the more aggressive ones who sought to kill them they did more.

With the needs of their people and the level of technology they possessed they knew they couldn't win but they could watch. On cold nights when the wind was blowing hard in a blizzard they could sneak in using the wind to obscure their footprints in the snow as well as their bodies natural coldness to bypass sensors looking for thermal signatures. They could listen, they could learn and they could lure those who wanted them dead from this academy into the snows to their deaths.

Eventually though something happened at the academy, one of its leaders had tried to preform a ritual and failed leading to the deaths of most there. They were disappearing as an emperor recalled them across the stars and slowly the academy fell quiet. Some ships came to check it but they found nothing as eventually the snows reclaimed the sections of the world. Then more of them came hundreds of years later, rebuilding and adding onto it.

A large being that was like a living tree took up in the mountain library the humans and these red skinned being had called it. The Batosai spent their time watching and children were being brought to this sith academy, trained to go and kill others across the galaxy while they partook of trying to hunt down the legendary and often considered make believe snow beings that roamed around the world and across the plains they road on bringing new creatures they had never seen.

These jako beasts, tauntauns, wampa's even to experiment on that the Batosai managed to free from cages in the night allowing it to rampage across the academy. They had after all brought them here and brought it upon themselves while some students were talking about the obsession the headmaster had with a flower and his experiments on the world. Others seemed to serve little purpose then to be prey for the masters and other students.

Those who stayed out hunting them in the mountains they allowed to freeze to death letting their masters chalk it up to weakness but then sounds could be heard, explosions and ships that were there. Violence had descended upon these sith which given how they acted it seemed fitting until it was revealed the violence had come from within and these creatures roamed the ruins of it after the final ship left the world.

The batosai didn't fear them, they didn't understand them, they didn't feel what they were in the galaxy but they soon learned and understood soon enough. These were undead beings who sought their flesh but were not immune to the cold just seemed to choose to ignore it as they could become sluggish, they could be trapped and slowly be buried in the snows when it swept through. They could be trapped in their own academy and left to wander around it.

That served their purposes as needed more then enough while they continued to live on the world not seeing anyone of note. Ships would come to try and raid, pillage the academy but they would either find nothing or they would find the dead walking the grounds. Killing them or adding them to the roamers when finally something did happen. A ship crashing onto the world and then another and another. DOzens of them over time with infected being on them.

The plague that spread across the world brought death to everything as it severely decimated their population across the planet but it also brought more of them together. Allowing them to share ideas and information as the tribes intermarried and mingled for the first time really in a few thousand years to have a population boom as the rest of the galaxy seemed to be going to hell and death tolls were likelly much worse through out all of it.

Eventually the darkness passed and they continued to recover as slowly a new breed of beings arrived, sith seeking to reclaim the academy but they didn't do much with it. Instead having droid there to watch what was happening as they roamed around and the Batosai saw there were more of them an entire emire going across the galaxy but they would be leaving them alone. No one came to the world as it was not considered valuable to the masses.

Eventually even they vanished with another group coming to the academy and destroying sections of the mountain to isolate it from the Batasai but also from the roamers who had gone out across the planer and were returning with the promise of warm meat. These females of the black rose posed no problem to them preferring to bring their own people to kill and experiment on as they avoided going out across the world when they could.

However even they vanished in the wake of many disappearing, a foul stench in the air as they could feel the afterlife and the pull of others with them. The Batosai gathered to try and figure out what to do as their numbers had been drive down low compared to the previous culling. It was a strange thing rippling across it all and eventually when some managed to return they spoke of things, of worlds that were broken and gods.

They did not know what to do but sought out refuge and protection within their caves coming to the realization that the worlds were changing. The galaxy was much larger and more dangerous then they had originally thought with some people finding an interest in the world itself. The Batosai would be ready but they would not join them, standing steadfast like a glacier on their world against the rising elements trying to turn everything into a weapon.

They fought back but by finding
