STRENGTHS:
Willpower: Bat, while not the strongest individual in the galaxy by no means, has a survivor's mentality which lets him willpower through things that would down some people.
Reflexes: Bat's reflexes are quite good, they have saved his life many a time.
Steady Hand: Bat has a specialty with two-handed blasters or firearms.
WEAKNESSES:
Survivor: While his Survivor mentality allows him to get through tough situations, it also pushes him to retreat away from danger when it gets beyond his ability to control.
Specialist: Bat is not even close to as accurate with a one-handed blaster or firearm as he is with a two-handed one, and is much more likely to miss when using one.
Morality: No, not the type of morality where you're a hardcore psychopath, Bat is not one of those. Rather, he doesn't have a huge moral boost towards his objectives, meaning that he's only ever in it for the money or the advantage. In other words, he has no fire to push him forward except personal gain.
APPEARANCE:
Caucasian male standing at 1.73 meters and weighing about 72 Kg. He tends towards wearing a mask or facial covering of some sort. Underneath his mask, Bat has light brown eyes and black hair. He wears a belt filled with various tools of the trade.
BIOGRAPHY:
Bat was born on the ship of a pirate whom had just recently kidnapped his family. Bat does not know the exact location of where his family had lived, though best estimations place their point of kidnapping somewhere near the Endor system.
Of course; as all pirates do when they encounter young children, the pirates slayed Bat's family and took him in to be a future crew member, expecting unerring loyalty from the young boy. Bat grew up among the rowdy band of Humans, Rodians, and a single Wookie for many years.
Despite the dramatic revelation it would cause, Bat didn't really care a terrible amount about his lost family, after all, he had never met them, and the pirates for all the terrible things they did treated him well. He carried on loyally with them until about the age of seventeen.
Then, as fate would have it, the pirate ship was attacked by a much larger piratical vessel, one with a much larger amount of firepower. The ship which had homed Bat for so long was destroyed, and few of the crew managed to pod out.
Separated, alone, and still terribly poor and under trained, Bat found himself on the desert planet of Tatooine. He was discovered walking lonely through the wastes by a moisture farmer named Randy, who; upon seeing the plight of the young Bat, adopted him into his family and helped to scrub away the moral grime that a life of piracy had given Bat.
He was about half-way successful. Bat stopped tearing into food with his bare hands... at least most of the time, and displayed a decent amount of respect towards living beings he thought could seriously wound him with no hesitation.
It was here, on this moisture farm and with this kind moisture farmer that Bat began to perfect his ability to shoot. Of course, he had shot at beings before with the pirate band, but they had always focused more on a spray and pray mentality as opposed to the one shot- one kill type. Defending pieces of the moisture farm from wild animals and the occasional band of Tuskens allowed Bat the training he needed to finally become a dangerous sort of individual, not just some poor kid stuck aboard a pirate ship.
The moisture farm fell into hard times, and Bat; quick to jump into a gig for extra credits to help his economically desperate father figure, set out for a job with the local rabble of crime lords and gangsters. After a few minor scores, he set about gathering better equipment and a better reputation with the local paymasters.
And that's where our story begins, a young fellow of twenty-three on a quest to land a big score.
