HISTORY
Bastila was born into a distinguished family of nobility on the beautiful and serene planet of Naboo, where she was surrounded by the rich heritage of her family's grand estate. Her parents, Baros and Teyla, who hadn't planned to have any more children after Briana, Brandyn and Blaire, welcomed Bastila as an unexpected but delightful surprise.
Saying that her family dynamics were complex, would be a vast understatement - her father strongly disapproving of the Force, with a Jedi mother who openly embraced it. Despite this divide between her parents wildly differing beliefs, Bastila was raised and nurtured in a loving and caring environment in the cradled embrace of her mother and father, their bodyguards, and the guidance offered by her elder siblings.
As time went on, it became increasingly evident that Bastila possessed innate Force abilities.
The first noteworthy display of her talents manifested at the tender age of four, when she eagerly participated in disassembling and re-assembling various droids with her siblings – exhibiting outstanding levels of dexterity and accuracy. These gifts further flourished when, at only seven years old, Bastila played a crucial role in repairing a vital water filtration system for an underprivileged village during a humanitarian mission with her mother.
By the age of eleven, tensions within the family reached their apex. Unable to bear their father's continued intolerance toward the Force, Brandyn left home to seek out the Jedi Order – soon followed by Briana, who departed to support her brother in his controversial decision - leaving Blaire and Bastila behind on Naboo. The absence of Brandyn and Briana left a void in the household that was deeply felt by all members, especially the young Bastila. Despite the pain of separation, this event would ultimately serve as a catalyst for change, particularly regarding her father Baros'. Whether motivated by guilt or something else entirely, her father began to soften his stance towards the Force— seemingly ignoring Bastila's increasingly evident practice of her own abilities, inspired by the actions of her siblings.
A few years after this pivotal fracture within their family, the Cataclysm struck Naboo, with Bastila finding herself amidst the chaos. That fateful day, she and her father had planned to embark on a journey to Hapes, where they would reunite with her mother and sister Blaire who gone ahead of them for the coronation of the newly appointed Queen,
Kha'la Daaray
. Caught amidst the destruction and buried under debris at their estate, she was later discovered by rescue teams in a comatose state and for almost two years, her mother remained by her bedside, withering away under the weight of sorrow and determination, tirelessly employing her knowledge of the Force in an attempt to revive her youngest child. When Bastila finally awoke, she found herself mercifully unaware of the event or the heartbreaking aftermath that'd unfolded, sparing her the weight of such devastating memories.

Born under the crown of Shiraya as the youngest member of the Sal-Soren family, Bastila was always showered with love and adoration from her doting siblings and parents. Growing up nestled in the embrace of her loving kin, it was no wonder when she bloomed into the brightest star amongst her family's constellation.

Her admiration for her eldest sister Briana, laid a substantial foundation for her own development as she grew. Spending countless hours trailing after her as a child and taking cues from her sisters courageous and forthright nature to forge her own unique personality. Many who have had the pleasure of meeting Bastila, often liken her to a warm fire, giving unstintingly from her heart and devoting all her energy to whatever task is asked of her. Brimming with an insatiably inquisitive mind and a kindly spirit, Bastila navigates life with both humility and unwavering courage when necessity demands it.
