BIOGRAPHY:
Basileus Isauros was born on Avalonia, a son to two retired military parents. His parents wanted Basil to serve the First Order, so he was given to the Naval Academy School to be raised at age 4. At age 12 Basil was allowed admission into the First Order Officer Academy, where he specialised in fleet logistics.
All officers were expected to pass basic flight training outside of a simulator. Basil's training craft malfunctioned, with the interior spontaneously combusting just as he landed. During the surgery Basileus reacted to the burn treatment. While the treatment stopped the burns, irreparable scars were formed. Fortunately for Basil, the scars did not severely hinder the physical requirements for a Navy Officer.
Basileus graduated the Officer Academy at age 20. His assignments were fairly ordinary but Basil climbed the officer ranks quickly after showing his skill for ship-board management. He was eventually assigned his own ship, and Imperial-x Class Star Destroyer at age 32.
