Intent: To submit a dagger
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Random Cultist
Model: Dagger
Affiliation: [member="Valkyrien Aurelios"]
Modularity: No
Production: Unique
Material: Basic alchemized Mullinine and Greater Calama Shell.
Classification: Dagger
Size: One handed
Length: 40.6 cm
Weight: 3kg

Special Features: Greater Calama Shell hilt , never dull edge, minor lightsaber resistance.

Strengths:
  • Hilt is made out of a Greater Calama shell and can withstand sustained lightsaber contact but will eventually be cut.
  • Never dull edge via ancient alchemy process and use of Sith whetstone. However only has basic qualities.
  • Very basic sith sword qualities in terms of sharpness and allowed it to block incoming lightsaber attacks.
Weaknesses:
  • Sustained lightsaber application on the hilt can slice it in half.
  • Whoever made it barely knew enough to only give it minor light saber resistance and the sharp edge. This blade cannot do the fancy force nexus or redirect lightning. It is crude alchemy.
Description:

Other than being an odd curiosity, not much can be said about this shiv. By all accounts it is a standard vibroshiv. It has a device within the hilt vibrated these small blades at a tremendous rate, allowing them to become far more deadly and efficient. The vibration of the shiv was so fast that even a slight touch could produce a large gash, while a slash could sever a limb. A non-vibration blade of comparable size was nowhere near as deadly.

Other than that, it appeared that the hilt was crafted out of the shell of a Greater Calama. The shell itself is as hard as Hijarna stone. It is very difficult to re-work without sustained application of a lightsabre, and a great deal of patience.

The blade appeared to be forged out of Mullinine, a metallic substance considered by some weapon manufacturers to be an ideal building material for melee weapons, as it held an edge well once sharpened.

In truth the blade itself had one other little known boon. It was the product of an ancient alchemical process on Mullinine and sharpened with a Sith Whetstone. This whetstone allowed it additional durability and ensured that its edge remained constantly sharp. It also had the basic strengths as a typical sith crafted blade in terms of being able to block incoming lightsaber attacks.

Beyond that, it is a rather nifty vibroshiv.

Chaos submissions:
Svolten rhyolite is an obscure canon material mentioned in the Book of Sith: the Sorzus Syn quote. The reference is noted in the Sith Sword article on Wookieepedia. Just using this for reference on how the edge of the blade would never dull.
