The BAR-13 is a weapon with mixed reviews. With it's durability and accuracy, it makes the weapon popular in some inner circles while at the same time has gained some unfavourable reviews in others due to the nasty recoil and the ability to overheat. It' a weapon of 'either you love it or you don't.'

With the weapon's strengths, it can make it a fearsome weapon to face. Mainly it's accuracy, coupled with both a scope and laser pointer. The durability of the weapon also makes for an advantage. The weapon is hard to break and is quite reliable when it comes to jams and misfires, while making reloading it simple and easy.

It's main function in regards to playing to it's strengths is to kill/eliminate threats quickly.

On the downside, the weapon's nasty recoil has been known to put people off from using it. A shoulder stock attachment is required if shooting upright. If one elects to forgo the attachment, then the best case scenario when firing this weapon is to drop to one knee and brace it tight against the shoulder. It is not recommended to use this weapon without a shoulder stock attachment which can hamper those that like to fire quickly and on the move.

Overheating is an issue. Though the weapon is considered to be semi-automatic, it tends to overheat quickly when in continuous use. To avoid overheating, it is advised that the weapon not be fired for more than two consecutive minutes; making it not a popular choice with front-line soldiers.
