- + While not immortal, the Shard are a very long lived and durable species. Coupled with the fact that his body is made of almost entirely metal, servos, and plastic composites actually getting to the Shard body within is difficult
- + Despite only spending a few hundred years outside of his colony Bankei has amassed quite the fortune for himself. One of the richest men on Orax his influence reaches far outside of the capital city.
- - Being of the Shard, Bankei can often be long winded, not only because he does not need to breath, but because Shard spend much of their long lifespans thinking and arguing with themselves. As he is a small colony these decisions can take weeks, even months.
- - Because Bankei is a small colony speaking to them can be a difficult affair.
APPEARANCE:
Bankei is stored in a tall, mostly blue and yellow droid body. Always utilizing the newest technology Bankei Technologies has to offer, Bankei is a walking advertisement for their company. Typically the droid body utilizes two blue human-like visual receptors and often wears blue robes with their Enlightened level sash wrapped around their neck.
BIOGRAPHY:
For most of their life Bankei were a part of a large Shard colony. Their colony was one of the first to come into contact with humans and one that vehemently argued against Imperial control over the planet. However, at the time separation from one's colony was seen as a crime against their own people and such they were forced to stay within their colony. Some centuries later however such a thing was not uncommon, especially after the Calamity war and Dharma's attempts to return balance to the war torn planet. Following in his footsteps and teachings, Bankei peacefully removed itself from their colony and with the help of Dharma's followers was able to secure a primitive droid body. Inspired by Dharma's message and the wealth of technology left in the wake of the Calamity War Bankei started their company in order to improve the lives of both the Shard and their human neighbors.
