- Blaster Defense: Balun's lightsaber is of a standard model with variable frequencies of power channelled by the blade emitter, as all Lightsabers are capable of, this weapon can deflect and parry blaster fire, providing the ammunition is energy-based. Slugs, on the other hand, are likely to melt; however, they can be turned into molten shrapnel at such velocity if the blade is used in defence.
