Strengths:
  • Increased Confidence: You feel like you can kill god!
  • Deceptive Sweetness: Despite Balmorran Bluesky's ridiculous alcohol content, it tastes deceptively sweet. The beverage is a stealthy liver assassin.
Weaknesses:
  • Intoxication: Balmorran Bluesky is notorious for ruining lives in a single night. Even the most composed of sentients will often find themselves reduced to blabbering drunken animals after a few glasses of Bluesky.
  • The Force Isn't Cool: Bluesky has the remarkable effect of temporarily diluting one's control over the Living Force. One might find themselves rendered wholly mortal under its affects, or they might start sparking lightning bolts at random people that have offended them by breathing. It varies from person to person.

DESCRIPTION

Balmorran Bluesky was created during the days of the Old Republic by a Balmorran soldier named Carter Rade that had grown sick of his daily grog. The drink quickly grew in popularity, and soon became a Balmorran cultural staple. The recipe to create it involves vodka, and a mysterious berry that the Balmorrans have kept a closely guarded secret for centuries. The berry gives the Bluesky its uniquely overpowering sweet flavor, alongside its almost neon blue coloration.

The drink has become quite popular among the upper echelons of the galaxy, and is a favorite of the galaxy's richest alcoholics. Despite its apparently affluent nature, the drink is surprisingly common and affordable, and is responsible for more accidental pregnancies across the galaxy than forbidden Jedi romances, a truly notable accomplishment. It's also helped the Balmoraan economy significantly serving as a major export to the galaxy at large for centuries.
