Strengths:
Like the B-Wing it’s built from, this ship has enormous firepower.
The B-Zero has comprehensive multispectrum sensor capabilities.
Weaknesses:
A bulky hull and high maintenance requirements decrease squadron count drastically. This ship is deployed in pairs, not squadrons.
Due to the cockpit gyros and seat expansion, the pilot relies on a small screen to keep an eye on a large aft blind spot. If the B-Zero encounters serious jamming, rear visibility is extremely limited.
The new rotating hull system made the B-Zero challenge to master. Too many sharp turns could cause extreme strain to the spaceframe, and the cockpit rotation system could get stuck in one position.
Description:
The B-Zero is a heavily modified Inquisition Industries B-wing. Unlike many other classes of Ugly ship, the B-Zero is made up of parts used only from B-wings meaning it doesn't inherit the strengths and weaknesses of other ships during the merge. The first B-Zero was developed roughly two months after the sekalian disaster aboard the Libita. The ship was simply a pet project at first and also gave the opportunity to allow civilians participate. It was only later down the line did both Sanya and Jorus realize it's potential as a quality heavy starfighter.
Weapons package and armor had been upgraded as well as an extension on the cockpit to allow a passenger or copilot. With the increased weight the ship has lost the speed from its original counterpart but has still kept its maneuverability allowing it to make tight turns. Also with the increased size it is able to carry more armaments and ammunition. While it has lost some of its edge this ship has gained more making it an invaluable design.
