- Small bomb magazine means less bombs
- Jack of all trades, master of none. This ship can fill multiple roles but is clear not designed for single focused specialties.
- Commercially mass produced ship which meant it was quantity over quality.
The B-29 was a model designed to surpass the MG-100 StarFortress, by making it more maneuverable and faster. Draw back was having to reduce the magazine size considerably, giving crews more survivablity in bombing runs but less ordinance to drop on target. The purpose of giving it a light freighter configuration was to break into the commercial market and not rely solely on military for this lines financial success. The magazine itself collapses into the cargo hold's wall (empty of course). For use they will be drawn out like a steel curtain over the ventral bomb-bay doors and then loaded with ordnance. Then the magazine curtains fold back into the wall when not in use. As a light freight hauler, she gets the job done and many customers like the added protection of the two laser cannon turrets off the tail. Helps ward off unwanted attention.
