  • [SIZE=9pt]This Stations defences are nigh impenetrable - The Stations defences are quite high with three layers of shield as well as point defence guns and flak cannons.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=9pt]My Armament are ready to defend the imperium - The station has a very high armament with turbolaser, gauss cannons and a incinerator railgun cannon[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Weaknesses[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]:[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=9pt]This station cannot move out of this position - The station is unable to move due to the simple fact it is cheaper not to use fuel on stations that will just sit in orbit.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=9pt]We aren’t getting their for another couple of days - The station have a very slow Hyperdrive and will not be able to leave a battlefield easily[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=9pt]We need no fighters - There is no hanger for fighters on board these stations and thus must rely on their point defense systems against any fighters or other small craft.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Description[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]: This station was built to defend the Azure Imperium while their ships were out among the galaxy needed for various things including patrol route and stopping anyone deemed an enemy to the realm. These defence platforms there for had to be decent enough to take a few beatings before failing while also being able to be deployed around planets in decent numbers.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Defences - To assist with this was particle and ionic and molecular shielding. Which allows the stations to take a beating from more than one salvo of enemy fire before being close to failing. Add to this point defence and Flak cannons to assist in making sure that fighters wouldn’t be able to hopefully last long against this platforms especially since they have no hanger and thus are unable to send out fighter to fight back or run defensive screens. However they do support a complement of troops to run the systems and fight back enemy borders.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Armaments and systems - The station however doesn’t come without some teeth of it’s own which allow it to hit back and hard. With Turbolasers, Gauss cannons and an incineration cannon they pack a punch against enemy ships being able to hit hard. Which it would hope to with a very slow hyperdrive meaning it has to already be in position around whatever it is guarding and no real way to move since they have enough fuel to keep them in orbit and no more. However they overcome those issues with a Radar array being able to identify it as friend or foe.[/SIZE]

I dropped it to 2000m. Sorry about that I missed it but since it is being made by a company can it be made at bigger sizes or can companies just field bigger stations than a minor faction?

Crystal Grav Traps, because of their power and rariety in canon, are also regulated by Rule #1 in the Starships Forum Rules:


  • Particularly rare or powerful special features may necessitate using a lower production (for example, cloaking technology, gemcutters, crystal grav traps, equivalent stealth or anti stealth technologies, or rare canon technologies and their equivalents will only be permitted at Semi-Unique production)
This means that production should probably be reduced to Semi-Unique or Unique to keep them.

I should also note that there are countermeasures designed to defeat the ability of Crystal Grav Traps, notably the Gravitic Amplitude Modulator, which can help hide a starship's mass. Because of that, I'd recommend changing the wording here to show that these aren't a foolproof means of detecting stealth ships:

Is this 1 squadron of dropships? Or multiple squadrons of dropships?

Keep in mind the wording from t he military space station template for the hangar:

Hangar: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. [For typical sizes see equivalent class of starship.])

Only 1 squadron of dropships. Fixed it to make sure that it specifies that is the case.
